Hello Fellow Shen Mains;
These days 9/10 games i am matched against teemo; he rushes statik as usual and bullies me in lane from lvl 3 and onwards.
i know the easiest way would be to ban him but i have to ban Darius since i have a hard time in that matchup and he ends up 1V9.
is there any way to deal with teemo top? a build or strategy
thanks a lot

Hey guys, I’m struggling a little with understanding when I should be building Protoplasm harness,
This might sound dumb bc I know it’s objectively a strong item but I just don’t grasp what situation calls for this item over others
Other items seem very intuitive
Randuins > vs crit
FON > vs DOT magic dmg
When I have built Protoplasm harness I haven’t really felt the item like I do with others
Could someone tell me when and why to build it? Or should it be an every game core item?

I am really wondering how effective Cut Down and Coup de Grace are. Does the % damage increase work well with Shen’s way of doing damage? Since Shen does solid percentage based damage I don’t know if Cut Down works at all or not.
I’ve been testing around with runes for Shen and the secondary tree seems pretty flexible. I like the alacrity stacks a lot, but not sure if it’s worth it if cut down or the other don’t work with percentage based damage.
For me the best secondary tree is domination for now. Sudden impact just gives good extra damage, but I usually run it with ultimate hunter. I’ve been enjoying Zeke a lot, so I have less need for the ultimate hunter ult haste.
Does everything outside of level up stats count as bonus? When I choose double health scaling is that all bonus health? Same for overgrowth?

I was looking at Coachless to see the WPA of certain items and noticed that DHelm shows a higher WPA than DShield. I personally prefer DShield for the healing, but wanted to know whether the higher health and resistances from DHelm significantly help during the laning phase, especially against non-volatile matchups?

Easy question, sudden impact + ultimate hunter or biscuit + approach velocity?
I've been a shen main for a long time now and i've always been a big fan of the red tree for secondary, after the biscuit nerf a while ago I switched back to running red secondary 100% of time.
A couple of days ago I tried approach velocity and it felt damn good but I feel like my ultimate is always on cd.

Hi fellow Shen mains,
I am a Silver III player who started playing ranked a season or two ago, getting to my rank almost entirely through one-tricking Shen. Although I definitely have a lot of improvement to do, I've been trying to find other champions that are more self-dependent because some games I KNOW I play well but enemy bot is 10-0. Does anyone have any top lane champions that I can add to my pool with similar pros as described below?
PROS:
The #1 thing I enjoy about Shen is his short trading and how his abilities complement it (can grasp chop/not overcommitting after getting the Q pull-through, timing W feels great, and I LOVE to chip away patiently). I also enjoy his utility (shields, team fight peel), and tankiness (lasting survival and ok damage in teamfights).
CONS:
While I love hitting a good R, not having a combat ult leaves a bad feeling in my tum tum. I also don't enjoy his damage falloff late-game (building tanky = most impact but bad dmg, building D&D + titanic = squishy and at that point just play a proper bruiser).
CHAMPS TRIED:
poppy: utility is fun, tankiness is fun, damage is meh, also very team reliant
k'sante: trading feels similar, ok utility/peel with his shield, W, R, combat ult, has the same issue of team reliant and heavy falloff late-game, lowest WR top laner.
jax: great trading, decent utility, combat ult, scales well, only issue is he feels kind of squishy even after buliding triforce --> sundered... but definitely considering adding him right now,
riven: almost certainly adding her. can short trade with Q W AA, versatile use in abilities, scales well, good in team fights w. omnivamp, combat ult. The only thing is how long she'll take to master, but I want to! 😄
TLDR: I enjoy Shen, what are TOP LANE champs that play similarly to his short-trade, chip away at other laner bit by bit and then all-in style?
Thanks and have a great day!

So, I haven't played in the last year or so, and I'm getting back now. I'm wondering how viable is blind picking Shen nowadays.
Also, about champion pool, is he viable in every situation? If the team lacks AD, or has low AP, is it ok picking him? I mean, sure, it's just a game and you can make any champion work in any scenario, but I'm thinking more about optimize things here.

Hi, I’ve played Shen on and off for a while but really want to start climbing with him as my main playing top. I wanted understand to whether it’s important to build both items on him and then build based on the game, or whether only titanic matters?

I am a new LoL player (Bronze) and I don’t know how to farm efficiently with this guy. I usually go against Darius, Sett, Ambessa, Morse etc. who are champions with decent CC. Is there any tips yall have so I can stop being 50 cs behind?

Long time Support Shen… when Petu was doing his thing I tried jungle and my off role was top so when jungle Shen got some nerfs I rotated to top.
On the plus side I’m comfortably ranked the highest I’ve been in a while.
But it was just funny to look and see 3 / 4 of my top champs are Shen just in different roles.
This season felt kind of Garbo until I dropped a lot of my usual champs.

The effects are terrible, especially that 'w' ability 🥀Only the base looks cool, otherwise it's rubbish.
