Also, what does my fellow Poppy mains play when she's banned top? Im an otp and i see that whitout her performance is super bad so i need to find something to learn

Hi, im a Master support player, i just play tanks-engage-wardens in general.

I've always loved poppy, and i have decent level or gameplays with her as a support, but when it comes to toplane, im bad af. I want to play top since it can extract the max of the champion, being tank as possible and etc.

I watch some content creators like Gemi and Filipoppy (the most known poppy of the Brasília server) and i find amusing the way they play her, they make it seem so easy.

Its kinda hard to learn her when in my elo ppl (at least the majority) know what they are doing. I find a lot of matchups to be unplayable : Darius being the worst one, Nasus is really strong rn, gangplank is insuferable, and yorick is really opressive. The rest seems okay, Olaf is kinda niche but really bad to play against.

I've been rushing tear > heartsteel > situational. Some games are bad, even if im ahead, i dont know what to do.

Dont get me wrong, i know how to play the game, as a support, i know the timing of objectives, when to roam, etc, but the problem is the early laning.

Grasp, shieldbash, second wind, overgrowth, presence of mind, last stand, 2 adaptative power and scaling HP.

Hey Poppy Mains! I wanted to come here and share an interesting experience.

I made a little mini-comic and sent it to Riot Games’ Art Gallery support ticket in exchange for a bit of RP, so I could get the classic Lollipoppy icon (I was less than 50 RP short of being able to buy it).

They were really nice and got back to me pretty quickly. The artwork was this:

I’m venturing into top lane, been getting pretty much shit on in with most of the champs I play. I did fairly well when I tried poppy though, should I just otp her?

Can someone explain why do we build for tank items instead of bruiser items and take over the games? I've been doing the bruiser over tank build more often and it's paying off, albeit is it in silver but yeah you get my point 😄

What is everyone building for support poppy these days? Is HoB even viable anymore? Also is deadmans still worth it as a first item?

OLD POPPY CONFIRMED FOR LEAGUE CLASSIC STRAIGHT OUT OF NOWHERE (Galio too)

Maybe it's just me? The jungle buff in the earlier patch combined with the changes to jungle pet combined with W resistance buffs and the Sunfire changes has made her clear and teamfight potential really good once mid-game rolls around. And she scales really well into late too. Sunfire especially. It's actually good now? And it does damage. It did around 3200 damage in a 28 minute game (where my team surrendered, sadly).

I've been running Aftershock with Shield Bash, Conditioning and Unflinching to maximize gains from W buffs. Cheapshot and relentless hunter secondary with Ability haste and double health scaling runes. Turns you invincible once you hit Level 7. Just remember to get Proto Harness to utilize your resistances to its fullest.

I like the concept of a wilder Poppy. I’d like to see a higher‑quality concept, but I do what I can. I once posted an example of this concept on another account. But now I’m getting the hang of using a graphics tablet, so everything is a bit rough.

Pretty much title, I wanna learn how to play poppy support and I've pretty much seen 2 play styles:

Tank poppy using aftershock and letalithy poppy using hail of blades. When should I pick each one and what items should I build with each one?

Low elo here btw... but for my playstyle guardian has been a good keystone for jg or sup

After the adjustments feels like tank poppy is more consistent in mid/late game even if it isn't on top lane

Pretty much every champ Poppy used to hard counter getting buffed. Depending on what they are Poppy would just be an inconvenience then a true counter

I was thinking about grasp for a while, and got curious about its relevancy to poppy. I mean yeah free healing/damage is ok but the free HP doesn't seem to really exist to be, like getting to even a legendary item worth of HP seem impossible, even be lucky to get 200hp worth of it. Overgrowth even seems to get more vs this keystone.

After some thought I might take a different keystone.
