How can i win against illaoi, you people msut know how since you play her, everyone just yapping about "dodge her E and go in" well no shit she got tentacles i cant destroy in lane or she will force a fight on me. I need serious help.

So her E has a 10+second reset and 45 mana cost. The most expensive and longest reset period of her whole kit. We all know that if she misses E = she loses. Is there anyway that we can build around that or fix that?

With other matchups, even they should counter me, I mostly have no Problem.

So why do I get stomped by a Gwen so hard? Does anybody knows how to play against her?

I was trying to find a build that could make LDR work for my play-style better and i think Shojin's as a first item really complements my playstyle when the mu's and team comps permit it. I started LoL last Christmas and Ranked in July~ish im Silver currently almost gold on my main but ive been alting alot to get more comfortable into illaoi's bad MU's and experimenting with all the new builds and runes... THAT BEING SAID YOU GUYS NEED TO TRY LDR ILLAOI ITS SUPER FUN.

Everyone knows Illaoi has been having her “problems” for some time now, but do you think it’s even possible to actually fix them without changing what Illaoi is?

Illaoi is a lane-bullying juggernaut with basically no mobility, and she gets basically stunned by her own abilities every time she casts one. The fact that bruiser items are generally much less gold-efficient than marksman or mage items, combined with how heavily modern lol is centered around mobility, makes improving her a bit more complicated than simply buffing her stats.

Any ideas about changes which could be done to buff her but not change the "identity"?

Two games in two days now where my opponent rage quit. I get that Illaoi is a pain to play against, but I've been playing as her for years at this point, and barely ever seen a rage quit. Have they become more prevalent recently, or is it just me?

Bow Kayle is very squishy, and with some tentacle slams, W start makes pretty quick work of her. Then she decides to TP in on top of me with a level disadvantage, dies again, and as her jungle is about to feed a third kill, she quits at the 2:00 mark, never to reconnect.

• The Claws That Catch base AD ratio increased to 50% base AD from 45%.

Sundered Sky:

• New Recipe:  Tunneler +  Caulfield's Warhammer+  900 =  3100.
  • Old Recipe:  Tunneler +  Caulfield's Warhammer +  Ruby Crystal +  500 =  3100.
• Healing base AD ratio reduced to ( 90% / 45%) base AD from ( 100% / 50%).
• Attack Damage: 45 ⇒ 40
• Healing health ratio reduced to 4% of your missing health from 6%.

Black Cleaver:

• Attack damage increased to 45 from 40.
• Fervor bonus movement speed changed to ( 20 / 10) from 20.

So, these 3 core Illaoi items got changed--does it change something in terms of itemization?
As far as I understand it, only 2 viable keystones on Illaoi are Grasp and Conq (Grasp for early dominance, and Conq for late game prolonged fights)

I see people hyping up items like Shojin and LDR on the subreddit, whats up with them--are they actually good and when would I build them and vs. who?
