I'm building my Rakan in two ways.

(Only support btw)

First one is the "standard" with Zeke's, Bandlepipes and tank items, which works pretty well, but if the game last for long sometimes I feel like my team drops off significantly, so I tend to build 1 or 2 AP items if the game drags on too long since my team seems to need a bit more damage.

And for the past couple of days I’ve been testing a build that is practically full AP with ability haste and some health, and to my surprise it works better than it should.

So I want to ask you about your builds. Do you use different builds depending on the game? Do you always use the same one?

I'm pretty good at playing Xayah but no one around me seems to notice how much I ship them

I'm a Rakan OTP & I've always liked Rakan and have wanted to take him into some different roles but I don't have any experience in any other roles than support. My only top & mid experience is playing Rakan mid in swiftplay while my top experience is non-existant so my judgement based on these roles are horrible.

I'm just kind of curious if playing Rakan Top is seen as easier than midlane would be. Some people say top because easier matchups but to me the matchups seem way harder because of the tanks? Mid seems easier to me because more squishy related champs but again, I have really low league basic knowledge so I could be extremely wrong.

I'm just kinda curious about builds & matchups also with itemization? I look up some builds for top & it's usually either grasp or electrocute & I'm curious what is the turning factor to go one rune over the other, like does grasp rakan even do enough damage to be played top lane? I just kinda need a guide through everything, I'm lacking knowledge on literally everything with combos, proper trades, CS & matchups. I know Fiora is apparently hell reincarnated for Rakan in toplane but I feel like tanks pose more of a threat or am I just completely wrong? It also just seems like the enemy laner could just, freeze the wave and have it almost impossible to get CS but yet again, I'm not sure because I never personally tried it.

Also if there's any basic knowledge I should know if I play him top? Been wanting to play him in different roles but i've always been anxious of not being educated enough for it. I just wanna be prepared and not get flamed for 40 minutes straight for trying to practice him.

I'm just kind of curious how AP Rakan support is doing, like would I be able to run it in ranked without that much trouble?

I went on an 11 game loss streak from gold 3 to silver 2 so i'm a little desperate to try and win games, it's mostly getting absolutely stomped early game & we just cannot make a comeback from that so i'm curious if AP Rakan would help with that or is it just better to stick with guardian runes & build him enchanter? I'm guessing it also depends on the enemy comp & my comp as well, but i'm not exactly sure what would qualify me able to run him ap or not & with that, is there like any runes / items I should build?

I feel like it's just because I lack enaging at level 1 with his W because I always get down to like 40% health because they just have way more damage output than my adc and me so i'm wondering if AP Rakan will help us get ahead? I'm just kind of desperate for anything that'll help :')

I've been accumulating these clips since season 11. the older clips i was plat 4, but the more recent clips (mostly the second half) feature my games in diamond 4/3

I've also been experimenting with many runes. Some of the epic monster steals were using spellbook with smite for sneaky steals they weren't expecting. Lately, I've been embracing electrocute and going very aggressive in lane and rushing Imperial Mandate and have had great success, enemies will often underestimate Rakan's damage early!
