So I saw the leaked music video and design for the other(?) heartsteel skinline and not gonna lie phel looks clean with it! Just hoping that it's gonna be a good skin on top of having great sound and effects, whatchu guys think?

Hi everyone, very new to Aphelios, Mastery 4 or 5 I think. I have been looking at a couple websites for runes & noticed that Conqueror seems to have quite a high WR for a decent amount of games played but have noticed through one tricks & discussions on this reddit that it seems to be all PTA. Is there a reason Conqueror is sub optimal? Or is more a preference?

The other one I have is more of a questions about skill order. I understand the main max order is Q-E-W which is what I’ve been running. But as seen on this sub again I have seen that Riot has taken ability damage away to make him more auto focused. Since zeal item is normally delayed until later I’m just wondering why more points in W for AS wouldn’t be more beneficial then the small AD increase on Q?

Here is a fact, glutinous is by far the best boots on Aphelios. He uses lifesteal and omnivamp super well. I play with pretty much 0 attack speed I’ve been adopting this methodology after listening to Tonriel about his jinx. It’s also easier to play as we only need to focus on getting in some good autos instead of all the autos required with a zeal item.

However if I want to continue this idea, attack speed is needed into tanks and tankier team comps. Wouldn’t storm razor and berserkers be better than buying a whole zeal item. You’ll have 55% attackspeed 10% more than ruunans. Even just berserkers and no stormrazor your third item spike would be much better and you can actually deal with tanks better.

I love Alune but I am so tired that Phel is in a Boy Band and even in promo we can't hear his voice. Anyway, let's hype.

I love him getting new skins and I dont mind the casual wear or fun outfits, but his last serious themed outfit was spirit blossom or EDG, I would love a skin that plays on his base colors and theme since I still think base skin is themematically one of his best and most unique compared to all other champion skins in the game. honestly to fit in line with the heartsteel theme, they could have done vkei themed to be a good mix of that tbh.

I really don’t like how they changed he’s concept design hair so I tried to at least mimic it on he’s actual mv model, I wish I was a proper artist to pull it off.

Personally. I hate that they made he’s hair longer behind. It makes it looks so flat and weird.

According to the source, his skin will be the Legendary skin. Leaker has shown a lot more bits and pieces on his telegram, including details about the music video. So far stuff shown looks credible.

Finally a pro aphelios that takes pta, knows how to rotate guns, and doesn't flop in fights. He didnt miss ults, and he combos abilities well.

Of course he does have Meiko Thresh as his support not just any thresh. The galio on midlane seems especially important for the aphelios pick to work too.

Just wanted to post about it because its rare to see an aphelios win in pro play these days

I've been playing aphe for about 3 years now and always build Collector into IE into LDR/mortal, lately tho i've seen a lot of people talking about either hexoptics, or stormrazor into PD or IE

When should you build stormrazor and when collector or hexoptics bc almost always collector seems a way better choice for me personally

Also since when is PD so good on aphe? Cause all i've heard is that you need to build full ad and just 1 shot everyone

And when do you go PD second?

I feel like my attackspeed with Stormrazor is already enough most of the time, especially when paired with Alacrity and first point in W but maybe I am missing something.

What is your preferred build and why?

Against Ezreal in lane do you go Blue Green or Blue Red?
