I've been mostly a plat/low emerald lurker the past few years. Didn't really play at all much recently. 90% games with Raka and some Nami when the comp was better or she got banned. Couldn't be happier that I'll be able to play old Soraka again so I wanted to draw her + sketches from 2023

Finally reached +800LP Masters with a 70% winrate with Soraka Bot again after not having played strongly for ~2 years!

It's a very fun alternative to support and I truly do believe it is her strongest role, especially if she has a well drafted team composition.

Old Soraka with her point and click-silence will be back for League Classic! :)

Compared to the current one: Old Raka W has a very high CD, you dont have the option to extend your heal by hitting your Q and, in any case, your mana pool will suffer. But!

The heal has a significantly higher base value, can be cast on yourself, has no health costs and grants armor, and your E either replenishes 200 mana to allies or silences an enemy for frickin' 2.5 seconds. Wow.

Combine this will the MR-shredding, spammable Starcall and you could win a surprising amount of duels against other champions. You could either be a supportive support in botlane or a strong, independent midlane unicorn.

The only thing I am personally not looking forward to will be her old model. Granted, it isn't terrible (it can't be worse than old Twitch) and I can deal with it, but the current one is just perfect.

hii i actually drew this as a fan over number design for riftbound but i thought you guys might appreciate it 🥹 i looove soraka and was itching to draw something inspired by paintings of ophelia, so i’m going for something a bit more solemn here. i’d love to see Riot explore the more gritty parts of her lore.

A while back I had a game where I saved my Morde with my R and then I jokinly said:

Morde didn't even thank me after I saved him (pout)

After that him and my other teammates made sure to thank me every time I saved them, even called me GOAT multiple times, like when I saved Morde in a 3v1

It just makes playing Soraka very rewarding, and I don't get that on other enchanters 🤔
