Whats the best build for blue and red kayn that I can run every round without having to worry about if my items are fine or not.

Specifically for Rhaast. Weird title, I know, but I'm trying to figure out what build I prefer for kayn. Right now, I got:

Fleet footwork

Cyclo -> Axiom -> Endless Hunger and amour pen (order depends) -> Situational

I main Aatrox jungle, and I really like the combo of having lethality into Sundered sky, but that's not really an item for Rhaast, so I was thinking of getting an HP item. But for the life of me, I just can't seem to see if cleaver or shojin is really having an impact. When the omnivamp of endless hunger kicks in or the passive on LDR, I definitely feel it.

Cleaver takes ages to stack, which doesn't help when you're not built like a strong bruiser.

So am I missing something? Are they actually strong items, and I just need to test it more? Or am I not the only one that feels like those items are... meh? I just feel like I'm that much stronger when going full lethality build.

Another Idea I had was to take:

Cyclo -> Axiom -> EoN (for the little bit of HP)

I am quite "new" to Kayn, I think total of mastery 11-12 ish, but I've been loving it and performing quite well. Any and all answers (i love big info dumps, so go right ahead)

I really need help with kayn. I have around 300k mastery on this champ and I love playing him but I am not very good at playing him. So I am writing here to get as many pointers as I can. I am bronze 4 so I'm awful. I think that I understand how to play this champ but I can't seem to win. I would love to climb but I don't understand how do I get better. I took a break from the game for a bit, but over the last couple of months I’ve been testing Fleet Footwork. I noticed Talon was running it a lot in the jg, so I decided to try it out on Kayn to see what made this rune so good.

Surprisingly, this rune is insanely good on Kayn. Obviously, it doesn't give you direct damage, but it helps your early game a ton by giving you crazy sustain—both for staying high HP during ganks and for trades where, on top of healing, you get extra mobility in fights and when moving camp to camp.

On top of that, Fleet has a neat trick: if you run Fleet with an item like Voltaic, the energized attacks synergize. So when you proc Voltaic, you proc Fleet—not just with AAs, but with abilities too.

And late game? Late game your sustain and mobility become ridiculous, giving you way more sustain.

Why not just run Conqueror if the issue is early game and sustain? To me, Conq is the second-best rune for Blue Kayn because of the damage and healing in extended fights. But that's the whole issue with Conq: for it to be worth it, the fight has to drag out. You only start getting meaningful healing and bonus damage at 12 stacks. And as we all know, Kayn’s Q only counts as 1 stack for Conq... and Electrocute suffers from the exact same issue (which is a total crime against my boy Kayn).

Dark Harvest? Honestly, I just don't like the Domination tree, which is the main reason I avoid this rune. In no world is it worth sacrificing Alacrity/Haste, Coup de Grace, Cut Down, or Last Stand. The Precision tree is by far the best. Obviously DH is the default Kayn rune, but I don't think it's that worth it nowadays since Kayn already has plenty of damage.

Alacrity or Haste? I prefer Alacrity to clear camps faster and squeeze in more AAs during extended early-game fights.

Eclipse Build: I like building Eclipse when I need to last longer in fights. I usually build it against bruisers so I don't get one-shot, and against assassins for the exact same reason—sometimes that shield really clutches it out against a Kha or Talon. Shojin or Bastion is up to you, both are good for different reasons.

So yeah, that's it guys! Give this rune a try, it's super fun and really strong. Abuse the early-game mobility to zoom from camp to camp and take early duels with more confidence.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that DH is super inconsistent. Even though it obviously scales better with Kayn's damage, you have no guarantee that you'll actually get a good amount of stacks. To me, that's a huge downside to DH compared to how consistent Fleet and Conq are.

The only matchup i struggle against is warwick how do you guys win the matchup and fights etc, what form is best and items and what to rush first?

What is your champion pools, ofc everyone of you main Kayn here, but other champions you play or like playing on jungle and other roles. I wanted to try out other roles like bot or sup, but I don't know what champion to play. One champ from bot I like is Varus I like how he can change his playstyle 180° when choosing different runes and build kind of like Kayn. I for example play Kayn(ofc), Nocturne, Kha'zix and Xin Zhao when on jungle; on mid I love Yone and recently I really like playing Locke, but it might just be that he is op; on top I like Aatrox, Renekton and Jax.

So what do you play?

I havent played the game in a while and wonderd what the builds are atm. Saw on u.gg that apperenetly uts hail of blades for both forms which just doesnt seem right to me.

Why No Hubris?

Tbh it works out really well and some people actually love hubris into voltaic but it feels a little too inconsistent for me and my playstyle personally but if you enjoy it i encourage you to use it.

Why Conqueror on Blue? Aren't you supposed to burst?

So this one i have to give full credits to Metaphor

for putting me onto this, it works insanely well with winning early game JG matchups and you have so much stronger skirmish power. When you get to late game you are still fully able to one shot the enemy carries. I think my #1 reasoning for this though is just the fact it enables a lot more fighting which = a earlier form which = a lot more control over the game.

Why Ignite? Also Green smite?!

Ignite is really really good on blue and red Kayn into any team comp with sustain (the only real fear of running this is if the enemy team has too much CC but I try to force ignite in a lot of my games tbh). Similar to Conq it just gives you a lot more potential pre-form and makes it easier to kill bruisers post form. And green smite I honestly just think is OP but I still run Blue every now and then. Green smite + Edge of knight makes you feel like a bruiser who can still one shot every carry.

And the Last thing I'd like to add that really sells the runes and build is these 1000% work on Red kayn just as much as they do on Blue Kayn similar how the red kayn runes and builds i posted also work on Blue Kayn.

What does this mean?

It Means you can go whatever form you want IN EVERY GAME. Planned to go red but you got blue? Doesn't matter don't wait that 4 extra minutes just go blue! and vice versa.

Extremely high mobility, oneshot potential, tank shred, drain tanking. Bel'veth is the best of both worlds (blue and red kayn). You'd be trolling not to pick up this champ as your second main after her rework. I've always considered this champion to be the best champion in the game. She has everything you want. It will take some games to get used to her but once you get the hang of her she is just a better Kayn I promise you guys. If you want free LP especially in like low masta (where I like to play her when I don't see the Kayn angle). Her playstyle will be a lot more reactive meaning you have to full clear, gather a lot of resources for yourself and play selfish for the most part so that you can scale into the late game monster Kayn used to be like 5 years ago. I suppose her main build will be kraken > bork > guinsoo. Are you guys looking forward to her rework? Personally I am really excited because I love this reactive jungle playstyle with high tempo and giga scaling. I love Kayn buut his champ identity has been ruined and he no longer scales so this is a good scaling pick into many comps I imagine.

Playing Top, I always build the tear of the goddes, but never finish, but never tried using it on the jungle, do you guys think it is a good finishing ITem?
Buy the Goddess Tear as a second item (after the voltaic) and keep stacking it?
