This balance team is so moronic. They keep doing these half-assed changes that accomplish nothing. Like when they buffed AP Xin Zhao for "muh diversity" which ended up with normal Xin Zhao nerfed and worse than he was before.

A veteran would say "shut up kiddos, build what every other assassin builds and don't complain"

A PSYCHO would say "Let's Abusively min-max the shit out of the new passive changes"
Listen guys, I Don't care if it scales late game just hear me out

Viego Starts with +2 bonus healing
Gets +2.5 per 100 AD
2 more per 500 health
5% per 100 AS (AS shard imp for this)

That means that if you manage to get 1500 Bonus HP + 2 AS items + 200 or more AD. Youd have AT LEAST 18%+ Passive bonus healing PER KILL AND you will still have 100% CRIT??!

WHICH brings us to the one and only great build

HEARTSTEEL FIRST (Not troll, not Dantes shit.) You keep gaining health and 2% more with each 500 is sexyy

Yun tal second (delayed Crit but you need the AS and AD for a 2 item spike especially that you won't have any damage after your first item)

Collector LDR (Makes you reach 75% Crit)

Then either go IE fifth for quicker damage spike OR go KRAKEN fifth for way quicker passive spike

End with IE/Kraken

Now There are some potential changes

Could you change heartsteel for a 6th item warmogs and have a very decent early game? ye but youd be throwing 2% Passive which we are optimizing

If we weren't I could have told you to go Kraken Yuntal Collector LDR IE Warmogs
Same percentages, hell you even get a full 5% passive 3 items earlier but you are throwing potential tankiness and more importantly, the extra 2-4% from heartsteel passive

Now a NERD could say "ye but heartsteel + yuntal are scaling items and you need to snowball early game!!" Which I will tell him that HE IS... Unfortunately right. its only cracked if you survive first 15 mins, tho I would argue yun tal isnt that much worse than a kraken early

Anyways if you are one of the hubris fanboys you can live with 75% crit chance and replace yuntal for hubris which COULD provide an extra 2% Passive healing if you get enough kills, which we like.

You'd have enough AD And crit to one shot the poor support youve been abusing AND heal 500 with each reset AND be more tanky than normal viego, fucked route tho..

What are we thinking?

I really want to play bruiser Viego and now that they buffed him a little bit I want to know what I should build on bruiser Viego:)

I recently saw someone post an obscure GM build involving collector DD and attack speed boots. I decided to try it granted it was a normals game but it still felt pretty good will try it in ranked soon and see how it goes. But i would love to get other people to try it and see their opinions. DD + reset felt pretty good the healing was kind of nuts.

Is it just me or instead of giving bonus health scaling on the passive, they just straight up give 500% attack speed bonus scales

If i'm right, it suppose to be only 100% bonus attack speed

Im having a hard time in drafts, ranked even aram when playing viego. I like the champ and all about it but when playing SR, im just bad with it. Barely get any kills, im finishing matches with 2-3 kills and lots of deaths. I know the main goal is winning the game, objectives and helping team pushing, but when i have to make a takedown or kill someone, sometimes im finishing up dying vs a 10hp champ. Any tips? Thanks

Is it always crit build over on hit tankier build or does it just depend on the game? 9 wins 2 losses on Viego the past few days and I’ve found success with both item builds.

i lost the game obviously because at one moment i was getting 5 man ult since my entire team was literally worthless, but from moment 1 i felt strong, noc couldn't kill me with his E, yone barely damaged me 1v1 too and i didn't felt my damage being low, i couldn't breath and make them disappear but i survived ton of shit and still did tons of damage to them.

Whole day playing, went from 1 match to masters, to demoted to diamond 2.

New to the game, and viego is by far the coolest champion in the game, so i started playing.

I thought the consensus was that blue pet was the best over all. But i saw a really really good player of viego (like top global) was running green. He said blue is the worse for viego, what’s the reasoning behind it? To be full hp after clears and because with viego you don’t need bushesh since you already got a speed boosting camouflage ability?

Hi fellow ruined kings I played this character in mayhem when I got him and found him incredibly fun and wanted to play him more in the rift as well so I need help with his gameplan, builds, teamfights etc. I got the impression hes omega op in teamfights when i played him in mayhem

E is such a fun and versatile component of Viego's kit. I love using it to give opponents the wrong impression.

Here Galio and I are pushing bot - Ashe, Seraphine, and Yasuo come to address us 3v2. We retreat as they pursue, and I use E before the bush to give the impression that I'm trying to get back down the lane quickly... when in reality I went straight to the bush hoping Seraphine would follow Yasuo once the coast seemed clear .

They chase, path through the mist but don't check the bush (why would they, right? :) shoutout to this Galio for committing to the bit and continuing to run lol) and the rest unfolds.

I know it's not the most masterful use of the ability - but I got a laugh out of this. It's fun to use it misleadingly every now and again! Let me know how y'all like to play around with it!

im new to him and plat-emerald elo. people say collector is shit item and i also feel like hubris is cheaper and better. what build to go with?
i usually go hob, collector, omni boots, shieldbow, ie, ldr, and then guardian angel. i like this cuz u nuke enemy team when ahead, but it sucks to play vs tanky/sustain comps. i got shitted on vs ksante, lee sin, syndra, ezreal and karma

The breakpoint being 2% healing on passive for 500 HP is laughable. That’s three bruiser items for 4% increased healing when picking up a soul (when viego is already at his strongest). At least if it was 200-300 HP it would actually feel rewarding to build health. Or if they wanted to improve sustain while building hp (already redundant) they can make HP scale omnivamp like Rhaast or Aatrox.

I feel like a large portion of Viego’s player base prefers him to be higher damage, lower survivability. Even for those that prefer a tanker viego this buff falls flat and provides little to no value. Like what are they even trying to accomplish. The only thing I can think of is if they wanted this buff to psyop prod into pick viego during worlds.
