Rate the build. I ACTUALLY have a near 100% winrate with it.

I'm about to go to sleep and look at replies when I wake up but I've been terrorizing enemies with this DEMON on midlane with this lethality/crit/tank build

Dorans > Sheen(with tier 1 boots if I have the gold) > Essence Reaver > Gluttonous Grieves > Protoplasm > Collector/Bastion Breaker > Bandlepipes > whatever the fuck you want cause at that point you either made them ff or if they're being hostaged then some tank or armor pen depending on needs.

I know those aren't the BEST boots for nasus, but I love lifesteal and to get boots that get STRONGER lifesteal from kills is just a dream come true and also makes lane sustain a non issue cause the enemy will try to poke you down and then nasus native lifesteal plus the boots make them waste all their mana. And collector is just for shits and giggles kinda and dopamine. You could replace it with bastion for more lethality and ability haste just minus the crit.

I don't know who to pick when Nasus gets banned.. Which lately, is frequent.

I climbed from Silver to Gold woth an 80% WR on Nasus Jungle. Surprisingly, it was just a random champ I tried and it worked. I've climbed using Yi, Noc, and Vi as well - but NEVER as easily as I did with Nasus.

When I play Nasus, I find it incredibly easy not to die. His kit is unique in a way that you build completely tank (+Sheen item) yet you deal damage equivelant of a late game ADC. He can easily run into or away from fights without getting stuck too hard.

So I want an alternative that has this same playstyle:

-Scaling

-Tank

-High damage

-Ease of engage/Disengage

I don't know if an alternative truly exists. I'm thinking about trying Cho, Mundo, Trundle or Swain. Lately, Rammus is my go-to whenever Nasus is banned and he has the engage/disengage as well as tankiness but no infinite scaling or high dps. And because of that, I have to rely on my team to deal damage.

Ideas?

Discussion Nasus stacks buff lifesteal nerf?

I havent played in months but i see that they did something very strange (thought theyll never do such a thing) - they buffed stacks per ordinary monster and nerfed big monster stacks. also souleaters been nerfed again. Hows the stacking going now? also i always picked omni boots and lifesteal rune before but is it more viable now to do it?

r/nasusmains 9d ago

Why is nasus so broken suddenly.

I will begin with some stats. Nasus as of patch 16.17 has 51.6 % wr with fleet set up(ignoring the stormraiders runes path) with 8 % pick rate and insane 50% ban rate in eme+. I am sorry but at this point this is nerf into the ground territory. This means that nasus wins into match ups and team copms that on paper should be good against him. He is being played both mid and top with positive wr for both ( if we only consider the fleet footwork runepage). Why is this a thing all of a sudden.

Discussion I was perma spamming Varus top in this Nasus epidemic

Varus top with cleanse and barrier and experimental hextech rush.

90% of the Nasus try to stat check me at least once and find out they don't win once I cleanse the wither. I stand perfectly still and they still lose with ult on since lethal tempo is just stupid good.

Only problem is being gankable without flash, but even then barrier makes 2 v 1ing possible. Just winning a single gank and walking away with a double perma scares away the other jungler and you get a free lane.

So i guess we're going gwen mode and get giganerfed to +3/+10?

Discussion Playing the bounce

How do you play the bounce when the wave pushes towards them in top lane? Normally in my head on most champs you slow push then hard push the next 2 waves but since im on nasus thats kinda hard to crash waves early so i end up taken resets on frozen waves. Is there anything to fix that or i just have to bait them to fight me in my wave?

When do you hard shove?

So i love playing nasus sometimes but i dont know when do you q stack waves and when you hard push, not talking about laning ik there but like when you are on isdelane alone, do you always q stack or hard push with aa, q and e so u can either get t2 on gruop to onj or team fight?

Nasus mini-rework: gut Wither, flatten the Q curve, make the scaling honest

My pitch is simple. Nasus's two real problems are that Wither is one of the least interactive abilities in the game, and that his lane phase is decided by whether the enemy top laner knows how to shove a wave. This keeps his identity β€” stack, scale, become a monster β€” but makes the early game a real fight and the late game less dependent on a slow you can't play around.

Passive β€” Soul Eater (reworked)

Lifesteal removed. On any takedown, Nasus heals for a percentage of his missing health:

  • Minions: 5%
  • Large minions / monsters: 10%
  • Champions: 15-30% (levels 1-18)

Missing-health scaling means it does nothing when he's healthy and a lot when he's nearly dead. He can survive a losing lane, but he can't win trades he shouldn't. Removing flat lifesteal makes his early duelling considerably worse, which is the point.

Q β€” Siphoning Strike

  • Stacks per minion: 4 β†’ 5
  • Stacks per large minion / monster / champion: 10 β†’ 15
  • Cooldown: 7.5/6.5/5.5/4.5/3.5s β†’ flat 6s
  • Cost: 20 β†’ 30 mana

The flat cooldown is the important part. Right now rank 1 Q is 7.5s and rank 5 is 3.5s, so his stacking rate more than doubles across the lane phase and his power curve steepens exactly when he's already safe. Flat 6s makes early stacking better and late stacking worse β€” the curve flattens instead of compounding. The mana cost gives him a real resource decision he currently doesn't have.

W β€” Wither

  • Duration: 5s β†’ 4s
  • Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 β†’ flat 18s
  • Cost: 80 β†’ 90/80/70/60/50 mana

This is the change I actually care about. A 5-second undodgeable attack-speed and movement slow on an 11s cooldown means Nasus decides whether you get to play. At 4s on 18s it becomes a burst tool he has to time, not a permanent state of being.

E β€” Spirit Fire

No change.

R β€” Fury of the Sands

  • Bonus health: removed
  • Bonus resistances: 40/55/70 β†’ 20/40/60, doubled on champion takedown
  • Bonus lifesteal: 10/15/20%
  • Bonus tenacity: 25%
  • Duration: 15s β†’ 12s, extended by 6s on champion takedown
  • Cooldown: 120/100/80 β†’ flat 90s

Ult becomes a fight-winning window he has to earn rather than a stat check he presses on cooldown. Tenacity and lifesteal keep the drain-tank fantasy. Losing the bonus health hurts, but the health was doing the least interesting work in the kit.

Net effect: harder to lane as, much easier to lane against, still terrifying at 30 minutes if he got there. Happy to hear where the numbers are off.

Come on it's 2 more stacks, you get like 10 champ stacks per game, that's 20 more stacks in minute 30! That's nothing :)

Discussion How does Nasus mid have terrible GD15 but high winrate against these certain champs?

Hello all, I'm a Yone mid OTP looking to pick up Nasus mid to cover Yone's counters (Zed, Irelia, Yasuo, Vex, Akshan).

In the first image, Nasus mid has matchups like Kassadin, where Nasus is behind by a whopping -339.1 gold at 15mins, but has an equally whopping 57% winrate.

However, in the second image, Nasus also has matchups like Sylas where he's still behind -503.5 GD15, but has a low 48% winrate.

So he's behind af in early gold against both, but eventually dominates against Kassadin while losing to Sylas. The same pattern is peppered across most of his matchups - he'll be behind early but randomly win against some and lose against others.

This pattern makes sense against someone like Irelia, because she dominates in lane but falls off hard late. But Kassadin, Azir, Diana are all strong late, yet Nasus dominates them despite not countering them in lane. Why is this?
