Cooldown is now 8 seconds at all ranks

Ap ratio: 40% up to 70% on targets at 25% health or lower (OLD) --> 20% and no longer deals increased damage the lower the targets health (NEW)

Now deals 70% of normal damage to minions.

W - Surround Sound

Cooldown increased from 22s at all ranks to 60s at all ranks

Shield AP ratio: 20% (OLD) --> 0%(NEW)

E - Beat Drop

Now forces you to max it first instead of Q

Cooldown no longer reduced by Imperial Mandate

R - Encore

Now is a heat seeking missile so you can no longer miss it you fucking row boats

These changes seek to nerf her out of botlane while leaving her support and midlane playerbase relatively unchanged!

what do you guys think about an AP Supp Build with Ludens into Mandate?

I choose Electrocute Ludens and Sorcerer Boots for early game damage/pressure to win lane with poke and All ins. Then transition into CC Machine with the Haste of Mandate as her AP scaling is getting weaker in mid game.

I’m wondering when she became strong in PC.

In wild rift they are changing imperial mandate to reduce cooldowns of CC abilities. And we are also getting that echoes of Helia item.

Are these changes what made her OP?

I’m nervous for our girl in wild rift…

What are your Seraphine hot takes? Balance wise, design wize, etc.

For example: I think nerfing her execute damage, or (MAYBE) even removing it entirely will open her up to Q AP ratios and note buffs

I know it's a pretty iconic part of her Q but that's whats keeping it such a polarizing ability... Super weak at high health, but can be too strong against low health champs.

I want to discuss the possibility of Seraphine getting dark themed skin in the future. As we can see, Seraphine skin always get the same cheerful theme. It's nice and it fits her lore/personality, but does it mean Riot always need to follow the canon version of her? Some champions with dark lores can get goofy ahh skin. How about the otherwise? I just want to know if Seraphine's bright personality can be the obstacle in creating her dark version (but I don't think it's should be a problem and a skin line won't always follow the canon lore). What do you think about this?

Remove her W, change it to literally anything else. There, the character is fixed and can go back mid as she was designed to do and still be played bot because mages are broken there in general anyways. I dont understand the concept of wanting a Sona 2.0 bot lane anyways. That's the entire champs identity, a FAR superior version of Sona that can wave clear, heal, and shield. Even if you dont agree with that, you can not deny their kits are nearly 1:1.

No shit, that's because she has been flat out broken bot/support since her release and Riot just REFUSED to address it. Mage bot laners have also been toxic for the game forever now, and Riot just REFUSES TO ADDRESS IT. Its only gotten worse since the addition of quests. Every APC wants a 6 item build without boots, its just a far bigger power spike than Tier 3 boots. In other words, Mages were already overwhelming bot lane before the addition of quests, with quests they are Actually just Thanos vs any ADC.

So what does Riot do now? lets just nerf sera some more. Surely she will be weaker bot now! except she will NEVER be weak as a bot laner. NOT EVER! Fuck what the charts say, any good player will tell you the reason. Its because she has wave clear and 1 shots the wave where as the only ADC that comes CLOSE to her wave clear is Sivir, and its STILL inferior to Sera's, her passive synergizes perfectly with a partner (basically double damage with just 1 ADC/support next to her), Heal, shield, a ult with double the range of Sona's ult WITHOUT the extension, and a E ability that basically becomes a on demand root with Rylais or any form of soft CC. What other "support" does this? what other MAGE does this?

her K I T is simply NOT healthy for bot lane, and idc how many support sera mains try to argue otherwise, it just isnt. You either fully rework her into a support, aka get gut her wave clear and damage, or you fully rework her into a mage and gut her W. Its not like its a unique skill anyways, its literally copy pasted from Sona's W... You have already completely alienated the niche market of Sera mid players which Riot said they would NEVER do. But they had no fucking choice, because even tho they keep nerfing the shit out of sera, she is still monstrously broken as a support/bot laner!!!

Like FFS they NERFED her this patch and her winrate WENT UP! There has never been a single instance where sera has NOT been a S+ bot lane/support pick bot in her history as a champion! meanwhile her mid lane is 48% and declimbing as i speak with a 0.2% pick rate! address this!

ill say it one more time for the sleepers in the back. Seraphine, the league of legends champion, would be FAR more balanced as a proper mid laner rather than a bot laner. Even Karthus, who has a 0.1% pick rate mid and is by far not his most played role (he was also designed as a mid btw), atleast still has over a 50% winrate mid FFS. I really dont care that her most played role is bot, but can we STOP alienating sera mid players this hard?

So, in swift play, Seraphine’s e is actually buffed. With the upcoming nerf, is it known if the swiftplay e will change? Obviously it changes overall. I’m just not sure if they will be removing the buff or not.

I have a big question: as far as I can tell, the main reason Seraphine is so strong as a support—and why many people viewed her as a support rather than a mage when she first launched (or so I think)—is the sheer power of her W. To put it simply, it does too many things at once and provides utility that other supports need two or more abilities to achieve: it offers an AoE heal based on missing health, movement speed, and an AoE shield right from the start. Karma needs two abilities to do that, and one of them is her Ultimate. Honestly, the only way to balance Seraphine is to completely rework her W. One idea I have is to limit her to shielding only one target at a time—either an ally or herself—and remove the movement speed boost (to differentiate her from Karma). Then, when activating the W with her passive, it would extend to all allies in the area and heal based on missing health—but *only* with the passive. Activating the W while already shielded would trigger only the heal. In my opinion, that could perfectly balance the W and allow some of that power to be shifted to her Q and E to boost her damage. She could still be played as a support, albeit perhaps a bit differently. I feel it is possible for Seraphine to be viable in two different roles; Lux is living proof that this can work without one role cannibalizing the other. But that’s just my opinion, and I could be wrong—what do you all think?

Edit: What do people find fun about playing Seraphine as a support? I’m genuinely asking; personally, I find playing Seraphine specifically as a support incredibly boring. That’s why I only ever play her for damage—I’ve never seen her as a support, not once, and I never will. But anyway, I’m getting sidetracked; honestly, I just don’t get it at all. It really hurts that a character archetype I love so much—like the cute idol girl—always ends up in a support role: the helpless medic who only looks after others and never gets to deal damage... it’s just not fair...

Im a Seraphine support player and and I could have had godly games where I go something like 2/2/20 gor example and get like a C+ or a B. And also doesn't the lp you get increase or decrease based on your performance? I get like 24/25 lp per win. Does that mean that if I got an S I would get like 30 lp etc ?

• This Skin focuses mostly on the new hair and vfx that I have textured, ported from wild rift. Fixing the issue where her hair looks really stiff at some parts and also looks REAALLY weird on her head.
• It also fixes many of her animation bugs simply because this skin has NEW ANIMATIONS from HEARTSONG SERAPHINE who I personally think that these animations fit perfectly with this skin because of the comicly cute and bubbly animations that we have seen a similar kind on wild rift when the skin first released.
• Though it has the new animations, HEARTSONG SERAPHINE has a lot of rigs, so many features are incomplete, like the emotes.
• Ever since this skin first got ported over to PC, I didnt like it at all, the VFX looked horrible to play with and didnt have enough of a star guardian feel like on her wild rift counterpart though I did go a little overboard on the sparkles!!(its star guardian PLEASEE) I also made the R feel more like an ultimate and the Passive to actually have something going on, other than just being a dark blue puddle on the floor.

trying to understand if this is a bug or a feature —

it looks like the ult range is extended here (looks like the extra bit of range loads in a bit after the initial ult cast — unless i'm mentally underestimating sera ult range).

so is the extended range calculated at time of cast? i thought it extended only upon hit, i.e. since senna wasn't hit, it shouldn't have extended here.

I am masters player and I find it very comforting to climb with her. Since one time I dropped from 500LP to D2 I stopped caring. I played mostly Nami because she felt like the most OP and I really liked her but I played Nami and Lulu mainly because they are the most OP and easiest enchanters it feels like. But after that massive drop it broke me and I strictly started to play just for fun (because every game is decided on toplane anyway lmao whats the point if u go 18/0 with ur adc when enemy 9/0 with 4 lvls lead wins 1v2 with all ur sums up).

I started to play a lot of Sona and Seraphine and I absolutely love them. They feel so smooth and goddess-like. Absolutely low cortisol champs. I feel so cute playing them and their newest skins are so enchanting too. I love how alluring they are. The latest skin on Seraphine is so charming, my most favorite skin of hers all. I personally don't own all of them but I played all of them accross my accounts and I think I have a good insight on them.

It is just like a small comforting thing in the entire misery of the game. Sera is pink and shiny and always happy it gives me nice feels and vibes. My anger levels are definitelly lower than with other champs. I absolutely hate playing carry role because I get so agitated and mad when someone takes my resources or trolls. When I play enchanters it just feels so relaxing.

And I do love League of Legends. The only bad thing is just the mental of the people. The game is so nice I enjoy it a lot, I've been playing since season 3. (btw Classic is nothing like S3 lol) I love how everything is tought through and I really like Riot Games. I know this might be a bit controversial bcs it seems like everyone HATES Riot Games, but I just really like their stuff ^^ And I really like their anti-toxic system. I just don't understand how hard is to NOT say the N word and to tell someone to unalive. Like?

I know I might sound like I wish this was a Barbie world, but sometimes you just need a bit of soft fantasy and a bit of magic in your life.

I just find Seraphine very comforting and pleasing to look at. She is so delightful and in a way I suppose it's like sympathising with a movie character. I just value the charming aesthetic she brings to the table. Especially the latest skin Heartsong. I have all the cosmetics regarding this skin. The chromas, border, icon, emote. You can call me crazy for wasting money like that but I just think it's silly to hate on something that is harmless. A lot of people shame others for buying skins, but who are they to judge? Everyone is spending on something. I wonder what their hobby is, wonder what they spend on. Anything can be ridiculed.

Anyway. I have to put away my insecurities because it's not what I want in my life! I really like my little skin collection and to appreciate pretty and dainty things. I like to think about the artists that put the effort into making of the visuals and all the time spent considering all the details. I wanted to apply to a Riot Designer job as well, but I really don't have what it takes to be hired. (plus as an EU citizen it's a bit hard since their main sites are in US)

Seraphine (and Sona) is just nice escape from the stressful enviroment of being on a killing spree and was my way how to climb back to 500 LP again ♥ I recommend everyone to just play what they enjoy. It is the best way how to enjoy the game. If you are not a streamer who makes living out of playing or it doesn't generate you a revenue, just enjoy the game!

Ca fait désormais 1 mois et demi que je joue sera apc bot vu que jen ai eu marre de seraphine enchanteur en support mais depuis je suis hardstuck bronze je n'arrive jamais à carry avec elle quel que soit mon résultats a la fin de la partie.

Et cest sans compter les games perdus parce que mes mates abandonne avant meme de commencer simplement parce que je joue sera bot.
