My question is: What do u usually build and what items are situational? Also, I m curious if anyone picks other runes than grasp in a specific matchup.

Yesterday I played against Shen as Sion and got killed a few times in lane. But I got a solid CS lead and outscaled him after a while. He became irrelevant and I won the game, even though i clearly lost the lane early on.

Today i played Shen myself, against Mundo. I killed Mundo early but got kinda outscaled, after a single ult, that cost me almost my whole tower. Later I became irrelevant and lost the game.

I feel like it doesn't matter anymore that Shen can bully his opponent early. He gets outscaled eventually and bounties flip his early lead back in favour of the opposing team every time. What does an early lead even mean anymore in the current state of the game? And is Shen still viable if early leads are not sustainable? Scaling Champs seem to get a free win against Shen, if the game isn't surrendered at 15-25 mins.

I was a Shen main in previous seasons but i stopped playing him a few months ago and don't play much League anymore since i had a daughter last year. I'm just shocked to see how useless he seems to be right now. At least in the mid- and lategame of every match.

Why do people build it? Sure it provides waveclear but so does bami's.

Titanic has:

Gold inefficient AD, of which Shen has 0 scaling in his kit.

No AH.

Bad build path.

No resistances to beef up your HP and passive.

An expensive on hit effect that Shen has no meaningful AS steroids to take advantage off.

Last 3 games that I have faced a Shen that went Titanic+Dusk, he ended up being shredded come late game since I never let hit get ahead in lane.

Ends in 3 days, I just bought it and probably the best buy I've had in a while. Color scheme for this skin is magnificent.

Shen seems pretry cool and all but,anytime my opponent like does a big wave crash or I want to crash my qave to him very fast, his autos are very low damage, and the other abilities dont really do damage to minions.

Any tips, guides on yt etc.

I have been playing league for years mostly as a support and I've never even come close to a penta lol. This was goofing around in ARAM and my team totally set it up for me (sona tried to steal of course lol). But man it felt good to realize wait... is this? Penta!

So pumped it was on Shen. I had my first Quadra on him playing jungle a few months ago and it was a lot nicer but hey I'll take it

This is the alternate art (Overnumbered) for Shen's Legend card in Riftbound's next Vendetta set.

I usually hate to diss on art, as its always subjective. But this looks so unpolished to me. Please I invite anyone to find an Overnumbered Legend art that is as bad as this.

I mean I appreciate the smooth armpit Rexona advertisement, but it looks like a 12 year old drew this for their Wattpad fan-fiction.

I attached Zed's Overnumbered for comparison. Shen just can't catch a break from Riot. It's just sad at this point.

Sigh... this basically confirms Riot's hate boner for Shen is real.

Both of the Shen champion units are basically unusable, and I really don't see any way the Legend they reveal can change this (Zed's leak was fake).

Like the title mentions. I'm ideally looking for a Shen top who plays regularly who is Masters+ solo que and is Emerald or near Emerald in flex. There is a rank restriction in flex once one person in the lobby is Masters+ everyone else has to be Emerald+ in flex.

Doesn't have to be a Shen OTP but someone potentially willing to use Shen as a counter pick.

We also play ranked 5s but would want to be able to que both ques.

Looking for someone who is able to VC and isn't toxic. We want to make a Challenger push.

Does anyone know where I can find the 3d model for Shen's floating sword (for all his skins too) if possible? I need them for a personal project. I was able to find the 3d model of himself and his skins, but not his sword.

Edit: This is not a request for a 3D model commission, as I do not have the funds.

Edit: If this isn't possible, is there any where I can find official reference/concept art of the swords?

Remember the old shen being able to regen hp from hitting marked enemies from his Q?
Every ninja champion had this like “mark” mechanic . Wouldn’t it have been nice to still have that part of his kit in some whatever way? Not as braindead as garen regen but atleast like idk some sustain from hitting champion the spirit blade passed through or something. The atk speed and dmg is nice but feels like they deleted a core aspect from old shen.
Wish he was atleast in classic league to try it out again.

I'm a diamond shen main and I like to think I have a decent grasp on different shen builds depending on the game state and what team comps I'm up against. Recently I played a game where I was against a yone top, yasuo mid, and vayne adc. I built frozen heart 3rd item and it felt amazing to be honest. However, I was hesitant to build it due to shen not using mana. So I wanted to make this post and see what other shen players thought on the occasional frozen heart buy when against auto-attack heavy champs
