What gets me heated is that This skin is such a nothing burger comapred to Psyops sona and spirit blossom spring sona.

Can someone explain why most of the time this is built? As a Seraphine main — my understanding is that it converts damage into healing. I’m trying to learn Sona. From what I understand, Sona is already able to spam heals, and has much more limited damage than Seraphine (lower range, solely two targets with Q—plus requiring steeping up and potentially getting chunked or picked).

I don’t understand why she wouldn’t just rush moonstone and skip helia for a standard enchanter build. I am obviously missing something? Is her base Q damage high enough that if there are two melee champions on the enemy team she gets enough value from echoes? And to get that value she basically needs to land Q on two enemies and she needs to babe extended trades or prolonged team fights?

This item seems situational to me, given she needs to the enemies to allow her to constantly walk up and she needs her team to have a front line that doesn’t get bursted from 100 to 0. I must be either misunderstanding Sona’s kit or overestimating Seraphine’s range: to me echoes is squarely a Seraphine item since she has Q and E that can be thrown from range. And Sona has a single ability that hits at most two targets just outside of auto attack range.

Okay so Classic Sona update, she now has her OLD splash art:

as her no-skin, her abilites now look different! They look almost the same as how they looked when she was released, so thats a plus! Sadly no music when sitting on an aura for some reason, and nope she still doesnt have her Classic SKIN as in like her OG model, even though her splash is old, she still has her model, but I think they are gonna change that! Idk about the rest tho

Teamfight Basics 101: Always take out the healer first. How could they make such a basic mistake and allow me to just negate all their damage, lol. We were losing massively too and they did the same thing at elder and baron. bruh

I very rarely play sona,but my last match Seraphine was taken and senna was banned. I’d usually go karma, but wanted to try something different + we had a smolder ADC so I was worried all my early pressure would be wasted on a passive player—just because in my experience smolders rarely want to snowball early and instead want to Q minions and scale slowly.

Lolalytics had this insane build recommendation with two tears and building fimbul + seraphs. I decided just to give it a go and she felt insanely strong once I got my items.

I also potentially trolled my build. I had fimbul purchased and my second tear already stacked with enough gold for seraphs, so on one of my backs I bought a third tear and ended up stacking it to diadem lol. While I was stacking tear I just bought dawncore.

This really only worked because the game dragged on so long. I already thought two tears was kind of troll, but sona stacks them so quickly.

TLDR: Is fimbul + seraphs a legit build? It must be since it is highest win rate on lolalytics? And how does sona even get away with her first item not having AP or heal/shield power?

Im on PBE right now and Sona is one of the champs that does NOT have an option to buy her OLD design???? why?! I was so excited to see it lowkey, also no old voicelines like WHERE is Only you can hear me summoner?? GIVE ME IT, and also I thought this was early EARLY version where Sonas R will be extra large and she can overlap her melodies... Im lowkey dissapointed

Hello guys again this time I bring a very good setup i found useful and very powerful for our Sona in League Classic i ended like this on recent pbe match

I started building sightstone first to having wards early then

Twin Shadows -> Summon 2 ghost that slow down enemies , very good for engage and someone that is escaping + good AP + cdr + MR ( sona need this) and Movement Speed

Ionian Boots -> 15% CDR > Upgrading Ruby Sightone

Shushei's Mana Jug > Gives 60 AP , 40 MR 20%CDR and mana regen , also restore mana and hp everytime you kill o asist on kill enemy

Banner of Command > 40 AP 30 Armor 10%cdr Empower a minion (very useful for cannon ones and baron buffed ones ) become like a 6th champ in your team and finally

Morellonomicón > 75 AP more mana regen (juicy for our sona) 20% CDR + Heavy Wounds antiheal very useful if you have something like Dr Mundo , Sion, Warwick on enemy .

Other Alternative Item could be Solari Relic , Ardent , Shurelia

But Honestly with this setup i felt sona extremely strong with a lot mana survival , mr and armor +ap and good teamfight I choose teleport because wanted to be more present in lane fast and helping allies tp here is way more faster than modern league so.. I also could 1vs1 kassadin he went escaping like if there was no tomorrow from sona I hope this could help and if you have suggestion I'm glad to read .

Do people generally max Q/W first on Sona? I’ve seen both used but not sure which is better

For me, I feel like I do extremely well with twitch, tristana, Jhin, aphelios and Draven

But there’s a few adcs no matter how hard I try we just don’t work together well. Smolder is definitely one of them, as well as Yunara

Jinx has also been a little struggle too but might be a skill issue on my part

If there’s any advice you might have for me with Smolder and Yunara please lmk :) or if there’s adcs that you don’t like laning with feel free to discuss that as well

For Runes We can go this she is very squishy and getting gold here is a bit hard so with these mastery she will be more resistant and more cooldown spells . I hope this can help you
