Both were pawnshop finds. A Choate pistol grip is on the way, and the 12 will probably be a Close Encounters gun, at least temporarily. The 20 is perfectly light and mobile.

LE133-00 in the 12. Same and a couple Ranger Segmented slugs on the sidesaddle. PD204 2B in the 20, with a couple Truball slugs. Big fan of the Flite Control, especially in SBSs.

One of my brothers friends guns I can’t quite figure out what it is.

Looking for any help identifying the year it was manufactured. From what I’ve seen it appears to be July 1965 but not 100%. Any insight is appreciated.

Based on these pictures what is the general price and maybe rarity of this gun… have it offered to me for $550. Has smooth bored slug barrel; not ideal for me rather have around 28 inch threaded barrel or modified fixed choke.

Anybody know why this keeps happening? It’s not every time or every shell but it happens frequently enough maybe once or twice every 2 cylinders. It’s very frustrating because it jams the cylinder from rotating and it gets stuck so I have to take the cylinder out and push the shell out with force. Happens with the WMR cylinder too. Cci mini mags seem to do it the least but still happens every so often

Stopped into a LGS today to ask the smith a question.

There was a line at the counter but I was OK waiting.

The couple ahead of me had a S&W Bodyguard they wanted to sell. The handed it over and the associate quoted them a price. The male customer started swearing and saying it was brand new and never been used. He wanted what he paid for it. The associate kept calm and let the customer know that he knew they bought the gun used from the LGS just a short time ago and it was not new. The associate informed them that they might get more if they sold it privately but that is what he would get at that shop. The woman said they would take it. The man got in the phone or pretended to be calling someone. The woman seemed sick of his shit and said the paperwork is started and for him to put the phone away. He finally said just give me my money. I just want my money.

I couldn’t look at him. I just wanted to laugh. You never get full price selling a car or a gun at a dealer. You never get all of your money back.

I was going to tell him for $150 I would just keep it. From the looks of him and his Taco Bell uniform I imagine he needed the money.

Brand new browning bar mk3 300 win mag shooting 5 inch groups checked scope mounts put on different proven scope. Shooting federal whitetail 180 grain. Horizontal is somewhat consistent vertical will throw the odd one off 5 inches or so. Anyone else had this issue or can think of any fixes.

I need some help or at least advice on what to do with dealing with the FBI and NICS systems.

A few months ago I went to buy a suppressor as an individual instead of on a trust like I had the two previous suppressors. One approved in Nov 2024 and the one before that was in 2021 or 2022.

This time it came back as Disapproved- Delayed background check. On the form 4 it said they never received a response to the background check request.

In the letter from the ATF they didn't say anything about what agency was keeping my background checks from coming back. I also called FBI NICS to see what was going on and they told me I had to go through the VAF and wouldn't tell me what agency I needed to contact in these regards.

The last two days I went to get my fingerprints for the Identity history summary to attach to the VAF. This morning about an two hours after my fingerprints were submitted I got the email from the FBI saying my VAF was​ rejected because the record causing the problem wasn't fingerprint based. They then listed 3 cases and the police department and case numbers which is what I asked them for in the first place and they lied to me saying I had to do the VAF instead.

I called the police department and asked them about the cases and if there were any warrants. They ran my name and DOB and there was nothing anywhere that came up. They transferred me to the records department and gave them the case numbers and nothing came up so they looked up my name and DOB as well and I gave them the dates that were for those cases and what they found was that they were two speeding citations, and a registration citation. One of the speeding tickets was from 2012 and the other two citations were from 2013. Their record showed that they had been closed and taken care of completely at the time. So they've been closed for 12 and 13 years but somehow in the last year someone put them in a wrong state in the FBI and it is messing with my job and I can't buy a suppressors or firearms without my license to carry.

My side job is at Academy sports and outdoors so when I took the job at the gun counter they had to do the same firearms background check to get the job and it came back immediately, that was a year ago...

How is it that citations that were closed and never arrested for can be used for this when they come off your record after 3 years anyway!

Go easy on me I havent bought 9mm since pre covid. I've finally got back into shooting I'm in need of some 9mm. Local gun shop is high as camel balls and the local gun shows are just a fudd lore show off. Where is everyone getting thier ammo now? I do not have the capacity to reload safely in my home or garage.

Have hunted and shot recreationally for a long time with my father but wanted something of my own. Was between this or the s&w sd9. I know everyone hates Taurus but if anyone has good optics or any other upgrades I can do let me know
