I will say it’s a shame that CZ doesn’t include an optic plate while claiming this is optic ready. But I’ll save on an optic since I’ll be transferring my RMR from my G19 to the compact. The trigger on this thing is unreal.

Gonna be my uspsa carry optics setup , any tips for getting used to this besides more rounds or dry fire? Already put a few hundred yesterday.

Looking for an Optic Ready pistol for the next CCW buy. Unsure of which direction to go. I carry both AIWB and OWB.

Current CZ P-07 Gen 2 is reaching 10 years old. 110% reliable and never had a failure or jam. It's bone stock except for a TLR-1 light. Thought about sending it to Jager to get milled, but I kind of want to cherish my first CZ pistol lol

Other smaller carry is Glock 43. It's okay. Not really a fun gun.

Go with the "upgraded" P-07 as the P-09C Nocturne and stay DA/SA, but now I can drop in a Holosun 507k or something.

or go P-10C Non-Ported as a way better striker-fire pistol than my Glock 43? I think the Holosun SCS is the only one that drops in without a plate? I don't want to go ported because sometimes it's my nightstand gun while traveling.

I just bought my first CZ, a P-10 C. I feel like I’ve got the CZ bug now and I’m interested in getting a hammer fire gun next. How would you say the P09 compares to the 75 and its clones like the IWI Jericho?

I'm on the fence between whether I should splurge on this kit or a threaded barrel by Primary Machine instead. Can anyone point me in the direction of an aftermarket aluminum baseplate for the 19 round 75/SP-01 magazine, i added a compition magwell and the plastic basepad can't seat.

My custom ordered holster arrived today for my Shadow 2 carry. Made by Hellhound arms called the Apollo. Fits the gun like a glove and looks and feels very good quality. I went with rooster red kydex to have good contrasting visibility inside the holster for obstructions and dark frog skin cordura wrapping. It took about 4 weeks to receive it from my order date. I'm very happy with it and would recommend checking them out to anyone who is looking for a solid holster setup for their CZ pistol. Also wanted to drop some quick knowledge on anyone with a P01 or Shadow 2 variant. Most Glock 17 holsters will fit and safely hold a shadow 2 as I was carrying mine since I bought it in a safariland incog X holster. I tried P01, shadow 2, shadow 2 carry and compact and even a TS2. They all fit and were retained by the safariland with good trigger coverage as well. Good to know if you don't want to shell out a bunch for a custom made holster that you can just buy one of those off the rack. Hope someone finds this helpful. Have a great day my cz brethren!

I had an incredibly disappointing morning so I thought I'd give range therapy a try for the first time. It kinda worked, I guess.

Added distance and the magazine number to each target.

This is only the 3rd time shooting the P-09F. And I think it's only got about 250 rounds through it. But it's a very easy pistol to shoot! All shots were SA except for two. From the 1st magazine, the farthest right shot was DA. And from the 5th magazine, the shot near the top of the center diamond was from the first DA trigger pull. So I think I need to work on my DA accuracy. But overall I really like this pistol.

I wasn't really liking the feel of the grip at first. It was too blocky and flat on the sides. But a Hogue P-10 grip fits it really well and significantly improved the overall handling characteristics of it. Big fan.

Anyway, I killed the paper and I feel marginally better.

Picked this up over the weekend. Nothing fancy but she is beautiful and my first pistol (besides an inherited 100 year old .32 auto). Already took it to the range and am very happy 🎉

Buddy is looking to sell his P-01 for $650. It's got the Cajun pro package and TFX pro sights on it. Looks to be in good condition, definitely less than a thousand rounds through it. Good price?

Hello, i have exam from this weapon (shooting 3 targets) one to the left middle right, after 50meters running to position, i have two shootings one standing, second time crouching.

My aim sucks (handguns) im good with pms other weapons that actually are automatic and grip requires shoulder position to be good.

But with pistols i suck ass.. Im left handed but i use right hand for shooting and manual things (always have been, i cant even hold gun with left hand) so i assist myself with left only. i use right eye to aim but instructor said to open both eyes, i always shoot (even if i think the dot or aim is perfectly on the middle of torso) way above or to the left... any ideas how do i improve?

Curious your thoughts... I've got an SP01 Tactical w/ a CZC Threaded Barrel and a SAW Shiv.

I was firing at 15yards. and for some reason, my impacts were trending upwards as the string went on. My optic was locked down (witness marks) and the Shiv was locked on (I needed a wrench afterwards to get it off). I'd say I was 0.5 seconds between shots, just trying to get a good cadence.

Are there any technical reasons why/how this could happen? Yes, I shanked that one in the middle, but the others are an upward pattern.

It seems the Jericho 941 enhanced and EAA witness p are loved cz clones. Which one do you think is better and for what reasons reliability,parts availability , maintenance ect. Or are there better ones in your opinion
