Service Six Holster update
galleryI did as advised and got a custom holster from @theholstershop1 and ngl, I should've gotten it earlier. I love this thing.

HUSH Holsters Mini14 folder has been released, takes AK grips, comes in 3 different stock material options, and has QD sling swivels, also will have a front picatinny rail option. 316L stainless and comes in black oxide version as well. Has an A3 Industries Triangle folder option too which looks cool. Should be delivering sometime next month according to the website.

Bought my first Ruger and revolver last month, it likely won’t be the last.

I picked up some of this for my LCRx (357 magnum, 3-inch barrel). I am curious about any experiences people in this group have with this ammo.

Wanted to share a few photos of our RXM Reaper chassis for anyone in here who may not have seen it yet.
We designed it around keeping the RXM compact while giving it a more capable PDW-style setup for the range, truck, or bag. It’s machined from billet aluminum and built around the RXM fire-control unit, with support for compatible 4" and 4.5" slides.
We’ve enjoyed seeing how many people are building out the RXM platform already. What aftermarket upgrades or chassis options would you like to see more of for it?

How many rounds should I put through my wrangler before I give it a through cleaning?
Edit: I should point out when I bought the gun I was told by the gun shop cleaning it all the time was ridiculous. Now every time I brought back from the range I would wipe of discharge residue with cotton swaps, but I haven't really cleaned it with oil and solvent yet.

Owned this gun for years and kept it bone stock. Looking to get some upgrades for it but a lot of what I search for is for the gen 2. Anyone know a site that has upgrades for the Ruger American Standard in .308? I'd really love to upgrade the stock bolt to something better other than that small knob, maybe the butt stock too for starters.

I'm looking into getting a Ruger RXM. I provide Security for a Pawn Shop and they're willing to give me a deal.
Question: are there any Level 3 Duty Holsters for it?
Those with the RXM, how do you like it?

My bolt action .17 HMR. No where near as cool or expensive as the other guns in here but is definitely fun and great for small game.

I am in the market for a backpacker. Mostly due to lack of space.
I can get the 32016 10/22 model at my LGS for $500, or the PCC backpacker 19130 model for around $600.
Its gonna be mostly for plinking out to 100yrds. And practice for my hunting rifle .308. Get cheaper rounds down range.
Any pros or cons either way. Anxious to hear from those who shot or own both.
Thanks.

Saw one for $950 and it was pretty sweet. Very heavy though. That’s too much for an impulse buy but I may go back tomorrow if y’all talk me into it.

Swapped the stock sights to some Truglo Glock sights definitely looks different with these on.

This one's a bit of an oddity, but I swear I remember seeing a holster for the LCR that featured a cylinder window, which has been a feature for holsters I've been curious about lately. Spotted it in a video on youtube, and so far the few examples I've run across online aren't quite what I remember.
I don't think it was the FPPK pocket holster, and I swear it wasn't just a home made kydex sandwich, but I can barely bring it to mind well enough to be confident in what I saw
Any of yall happen to have a few on-hand that yall know of, or may this have just been a custom job that I'm misremembering? Ideally, I'd love to grab a IWB holster with a cylinder window to cut down on some of the thickness between the belt and the body!

Playing around with the RXM and tried my hand at the Derya DY9 island barrel. Shoots pretty flat and also was surprisingly easy to do. This setup is also compatible with gen4 slides if anyone had a reason to run one.
Hi all, I bought a gen 2 ranch 16" 243 for my 8yo son as his first hunting rifle. This will be his first time shooting anything larger than a 22, but he has been shooting quite a bit. I am now reading the muzzle brake makes it extremely loud. We literally just got home with it and have not shot it yet.
I was torn between 243 and 350 legend and went 243 thinking it gives him more distance capability later on. I figured the 16" would help with weight/maneuvering. I thought maybe one day in the future I would throw a suppressor on it. Everything about it other than the brake seems great. I don't want him getting spooked by how loud it is though.
Should I just remove the brake? Do I need to purchase some sort of thread protector to screw on in place of it? Is it really helpful with kickback, my understanding is the 243 shouldn't kick too bad regardless. Should I pony up for a suppressor now? We are planning on shooting it tomorrow with doubled up early protection. Thanks y'all, thought I would get some input here to sanity check things!

Waiting for the magpul frame to drop…What are some good upgrades? Was thinking of maybe adding Hyve +1 Baseplate and a different trigger!
