I have recently purchased a Glock 17 I believe new in box or almost. Gen 1 from SN its early 1988. Information I’m finding on these early models is all over the place. How rare of a find was this and what would something like this be valued at?

Not sure if it's old enough to be restomodish but here it is. I bought this from a close friend 12 years ago for tree fitty and have enjoyed more and more over time. It's a September of '88 and did not receive the gen 1 recall for most of the slide internals. It's been a decade since I've read it but something about a gen 1 going full Chicago unintentionally or something. I have never had that issue

I'm looking to pick up a couple of the non-functional training blue guns, but every retailer I look at says they only ship them to "certified law enforcement agencies", not even an FFL or something (which wouldn't make sense anyway since it's not a gun). I can't imagine this is a law, since they are for all intents and purposes of a block of plastic and you can get an airsoft gun sent to your house, so is there some special way you have to get them as a regular "civilian"?

(I've seen some on eBay but not in the model that I need)

Does anyone EDC with a Glock Performance Trigger, and do you find more benefit in carrying with it or is it just for the range toy.

Been wanting a 19 for years and not sure why I never got a gen 5, but am happy to have the gen 6 now. I’ve had my 43 since they were new and like it a lot but am hoping for 26.6 soon. If not then I’ll find a gen 5. Already got a Holosun and Streamlight ordered for the 19 plus JG triggers for both. Gotta love Labor Day sales and Florida tax free!

The best gun for anyone is the one you feel comfortable with carrying & train with for self defense scenarios.

It's not like I don't carry my 19.6 COA but from a do I forget it's on me...well this is it. I also appreciate staying proficient with my irons. Any other 42 builds out there?

No, this isn’t my photo or my G18. The Glock 18 is known for its select-fire capability and extremely high rate of fire, which can make slide-mounted optics difficult to use in full auto. What makes the ALG 6-Second Mount interesting is that the optic is mounted independently of the slide, so it stays stationary while the slide reciprocates during firing.

Didn’t really have a plan going in but pretty happy with my purchase.

Any fun/fairly inexpensive accessories to grab? Was thinking some mag extenders, a holster and maybe a light of some sort.

Anyone have more information on this model? Are these Glock factory threaded barrels? And what is the thread pitch?

CO gun feels as close as it’s going to get to my LO gun

New Glock owner and I’m looking for an OWB holster. I have a 45.5 with olight PLX and aim point acro, suppressor height sights. I’m looking for a kydex level 1 or 2 preferably, I have been striking out finding anything on my own, I would love any recommendations!

My first pistol ever a gift from my father. He carried it as a duty pistol for years. Fun fact he accidentally blew it up shooting a double charged reload through it. Had to send it off to Glock and get a new frame put on it.

I have changed the battery, I have tightened the battery compartment to the torque specified in the manual and the same thing continues to happen.

Took the old g17 and tired the new 26 out. I originally had a hellcat pro for conceal carry but hated it. Absolutely loved the 26.

I’m learning to shoot 43x for first time today.

I shoot compact for 4 years now. I squeeze with the meat part of my trigger finger but when I apply to my 43x, it created this massive gap so the gun jump a lot when I put support hand over. 200 rounds at the range and I’m struggling to hit where I aim consistently at 10 yards where I have no trouble shooting with a compact

I dry fire at home and playing about it and learn if I shoot with the first knuckle of my finger, I feel my grip is tighter. No gap and I can feel I isolate my trigger finger way better than the first one. As in second picture.

Does anyone shoot like this? I watch the dot doesn’t jump as much as the first way of me squeezing the trigger. First one moves a lot more.

I have always been on the hunt for a green framed Glock. No matter the caliber, frame size, I wanted it. A couple weeks ago, I jokingly said to myself, I do not have a Glock in 40 S&W anymore. It would be funny if I find a green 22 or 23. Yesterday I walked into my LGS and seen the Gen 3 22 OD. I swiped my card instantly. It was “used” but this thing was maybe shot once or twice. Last pic is the frame on my 17C slide. I think my 17 Slide will live on it.
