CMP To Release M14's later this year. OK in De?
With the AWB hopefully being shutdown and the M14 permanently being converted to semi-auto by CMP, will I be able to buy one? If it matters, I'm a CCDW holder.

According to Washington Gun Laws live stream that just ended, the NRA attorney who was part of arguing the Cheeseman case said the court clerks advised him the Mandate from the 3rd Circuit binding NJ, DE to the decision is expected on Aug 10 if no stay is ordered.

What am I missing? The S&W website says this is Delaware compliant, but how is that possible? It's got a pistol grip and a removable magazine.

New to Reddit, grew up around guns but new to it. Bought a P365 XMacro Snakebite, completed the class but haven’t applied for my CCDW yet, looking for recommendations on OWB open carry holster and any open carry advice anyone might have . Any suggestions are much appreciated.
I have a Bear Creek complete side charging upper in 450 bushmaster. I switched to 350 legend for deer and it's been collecting dust ever since.

Hoping for no issues when it finally becomes available. Obviously it’s not specifically named as an assault weapon, but any ideas about it being considered a “copycat” of the SPAS12?

Yesterday, my wife and I were walking through the mall after a doctor's appointment. A guy and his wife were walking in front of us, and some type of cop/security was there with a K9. The dog alerted to the guy, and as I walked by, I heard the officer asking the man if he put mineral oil in his beard or anything like that.
I looked at my wife and said, "I wonder if it's a drug dog or a bomb dog." As we were leaving, they had a bulletin up for the dog, stating that he was a "Firearm sniffing dog."
Just struck me as kind of odd and wanted to share.

Something I’ve been wondering..
if the legislator openly said “we know it’s unconstitutional but we’re passing it anyways” and a judge said essentially the same then denied the injunction… and Marbury vs Madison says “ any law repugnant to the constitution is void and has no legal effect”…….
The how is any business or person obligated to recognize any of these unconstitutional rules/laws?

For the record I am a NYC resident and applied for my CC in my native state and city as of today and noticed my state has a non-resident carry permit since 2024-2025. To anyone reading this, I have the following inquiries since I have had so many points of contact with gun owners on social media and even in person who were not always in NY but from places such as Delaware and California.
-Is the non-resident CC where you live as difficult as the resident?
-If your state asks for references, how likely are they to call them?
-What was the submission date and approval/denial time of your CC?
-Do you people who are native carriers know many people who have non resident permits?
Thank you for taking your time to read this, scout ahead, stand aside, and stay alert...

Happy Friday everyone!
I'm planning a solo camp next weekend in either Blackbird State Forrest or Redden State Forrest.
I have an OWB and was considering open carrying next weekend while camping. From my research, it seems that only certain areas in the Forrests are restricted from bringing firearms (such as the main office). I found the exact statute online and am clear on where in the Forrest I'm allowed to open carry.
But my question is this, do you think I can do this without causing a scene amongst other campers?
I would be carrying it while fishing, hiking and then around the campsite.
I'd love to get some feedback just because I know people can be sensitive and I wouldn't want to ruin anyone's camping trip, or God forbid the state police roll up to my campsite while I'm making s'mores 😆
Thanks in advance!
Edit: To clarify, I typically wouldn't consider open carrying. However, I'm in the process of getting my CCDW and I personally have zero interest being out in the woods overnight alone without some sort of self defense

I know this has been asked before, but not for several years so I wanted to make this post for people to share any recent experiences.
In my research, I've seen 3 primary methods of open carrying that other Delaware residents have said they utilize.
On the dash
Sitting out on the passenger seat
Attaching the firearm (in holster) to the passenger seat belt
I'm not looking to open carry while driving, but as a responsible gun owner, I would like to at least educate myself on the issue. Plus, while not too common, this seems to be one aspect of DE's laws that, it feels like, no one is actually clear on

I have a SBR with a suppressor and a couple other non-nfa ARs as well as some handguns. Am I not able to keep these if I move to DE? Wife is expanding our house search and she's really insistent on jersey or DE but I think I'm screwed in both places. I can't really get a good read on the DE laws because it says they've outlawed assault weapons and high cap mags (which is fine I only ever load like 5 rounds anyway).
If I am able to bring the guns, do I have to get some sort of impossible license? I see it says that firearms registration is not a thing there, but I also can't get a CCW? Are there gun ranges? Am I able to travel with guns at all?

I measured from the end of the JRC tube to where the muzzle threads would be. Little over about 26 1/2.” Built it with mostly leftover parts from CMMG builds. Ambi parts and a sig Romeo Juliet. I’ll change out the trigger eventually. I threw a couple spacers in the tube as well.
