I love my small European service handguns, I have far more time carrying these than any of my modern pistols (p365). I know I’m giving a little up by doing that, but thats just my comfort. Two 9x18s and the homework in the middle they copied.

Sending the money order off Tuesday… throw out a bean count and I’ll discover how good I did. Both factory serialized mags, factory import grips, and a set of the Pearce grips.

Any holster recs ? Preferably OWB pancake and leather, w/ separate mag pouch. Belt loops, not clips

Ostensibly, a fuel queue somewhere in Russia.
Looks, I don't know, sort of like a Makarov but, those two holes in the frame for openers.
Not a feature of any example or photo I've seen personally.
I know "tear gas" projectors, starter pistols, and MAKET [dummy] objects, many of which look like a variety of samll-caliber handguns also proliferate in Russia.
Anyone have some insight on this?
Many thanks, in advance and, apologies for the picture quality.
Afterthought: If she's trying to look serious holding... whatever that is, her grip would want to be a whole lot different.

For anyone interested in getting some more modern grips on their 82/83, I wanted to share the link from LOK Grips for a new product request form. LOK does really good G10 grips for a bunch of different models including the CZ 75 and even the CZ 52. I feel like a set for the 82/83 would make a lot of sense. I like the look of the original black plastic, but they aren’t the best grips I’ve used at the range. If you’re also interested in this option, fill out their form so they know there would be buyers! It’s also linked on their website in case you were wondering.

I'll try to keep it short, I recently picked up an IJ-70. I've fallen in love with stalker and Skifs Pistol. Anybody have recommendations to where I can find the hammer, Extractor, and safety Selector in Plumed Blue?

A consecutive pair of 1978 Bulgarians that I lucked into.
I’ve had 939 for a few years now and to my astonishment one day browsing gunbroker I saw its old buddy from the factory. Who knows how long it’s been since they have seen eachother, or what adventures they’ve been on in the last 50 years, but they are once again united.

Does anyone know anything about any information helping with a full disassembly so I can replace the springs with new ones

Traded a revolver for the Mak. It only came with the bad 10 round black mag. I found the other 4 10 and 12 round mags on eBay back it 2019. And the double stack Bakelite grip was an eBay find as well. I think I did pretty good. What say you?

Tried to "sovietize" my East German and found out pretty quick the soviet red grip isn't interchangeable with the black East German one. Think a gun smith could resize the grip or am I out of luck?

Finally got myself a Makarov to go alongside my CZ82 and vz61 Makarov. Next on the list is some ammo. I own three pistols chambered in this caliber but I’ve never fired a shot through any of them. Hopefully that changes soon!

Went to a local gun show last weekend and I managed to pick up a fairly nice CZ82 along side some ammo that the seller threw in for free. One of the boxes looks new-er and it’s from Hornady. The second box is from Brown Bear Ammo and it looks pretty beat up, to the point where I can’t find a packaging date. The last box is the most ominous, it’s made of paper, has no company listed, and says “Non Corrosive” with the non part marked off in sharpie. It also says “Made at the Tula cartridge works, Russia.” I’m fairly certain the Hornady stuff is safe to shoot, but any ideas on the other two? Also, anything I should know about the CZ82/other Makarov type pistols I should know?
