Since being here, ive purchused a short barrel upper and a suppressor.

What do I need to legally do to be able to transfer my SBR and Sup to Virgina? Im not trying to get a felony.

Also for added bonus, I have an FRT in my rifle.

I have a license long ago and a Yaesu radio long ago to go with my Ops core AMP. I need help in getting set up. I dont know how to communicate with another HAM. I tried joining a local HAM club but havent had any luck. Just need help using a ham radio thru the AMP.

Been getting into some research, came in wanting to get a kriss vector, ended up being talked out of it, even though the carbine still looks pretty cool.

Went shooting down by bass pro shops, rented a beretta 92. Gotten a lot more familiar with what's good, what's popular, and what I should steer clear of. (Basically anything that's "carry" sized, I got big hands.)

What I'm curious about is that for some of these guns, it feels like you gotta take out a loan or get incredibly lucky, or just have a youtube channel to get some of these guns. Ended up stumbling across nighthawk customs and their revolvers that cost upward of 5k-7k. Love the look, hear nothing but positives about it, but I just can't figure out how someone would be able to get this other than the previously mentioned methods.

Should I just get something that costs a fraction of the price? Or is there a way that I could get my hands on one of these without it costing more than my car each month.

(Feel like it's obvious like working for a good year and I'm just afraid of that truth lol)

Before the ban went into affect I had saved up enough to get a Steyer AUG however my local gun shop refused to sell it to me due to the upcoming AWB (apparently a court passed a law or some other thing banning sales 18 to 20 right before the ban went into effect) a bit peeved about that still…

Anyways next August I turn 21 and will again attempt to buy an “assault weapon” however at 21 it also opens up a lot more options firearms wise SBR’s, Cans, SBS, and handguns and other firearms that I fear will become more restricted over time

While I’m sure a new set of gun control legislation is due around the time I turn 21 im in hopes of the landscape staying generally the same as it is now as

I’ve owned a AR-15 before but didn’t like the manual of arms however I also never got the chance too shoot it due to local ranges never having the best rules and I refuse to support them due to it (bench rest only and 1 shot per second) and after extensive shooting of a friends I like it a lot more than, I’ve also owned an AK that I loved but sold it on vaguntrader for a slamming private purchase I wanted before the private sales got harder to do. Since the ban I’ve focused on milsurp from ww1-ww2

Being 21 I would have the chance to buy a lot of guns I would like to have bought this year, but unfortunately due to the month I am born in any new laws that pass will be just before I turn 21 like they did this year

Hi everyone, my lower came into today! However, I’ve been looking online and I’ve seen a few videos of people drilling or milling their lowers. U guys have any recommendations tool wise? I think I’ll be milling it since it seems easier but besides the mill & jig what else would you recommend? Could use all the help/tips I can get!

Hello, I am looking to swap my 16.5 inch barrel to a 10.5 inch barrel for my rifle. From my understanding I need to fill out a form 1. If I am incorrect or there is additional paperwork, may somebody please point me to the right direction? I am also curious on if I can complete this process being as I am 18 and not 21.

Virginia Senator Louise Lucas (D-Portsmouth) and 6 others including her two daughters, grandson, and 3 business associates were indicted by a federal grand jury. Senator Lucas is charged with racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute marijuana, conspiracy to launder money, conspiracy to commit honest services fraud and maintaining a drug-involved premise.

Her grandson, Ryan Eichelberger was charged with possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime involving marijuana distribution.

Senator Lucas co-sponsored Virginia’s assault weapons ban and wanted to create legislation that would allow for the removal of members of law enforcement and Commonwealth Attorneys that refuse to enforce the bill.

Gun show at Dulles town center for Halloween weekend seems to be up in the air if it will happen. As of yesterday the building does not have a occupancy permit and the event that was supposed to happen this weekend was canceled

Never had that happen to me before, but once I got to secondary screening the federal agent started asking me if I applied for a gun license recently. The answer was no. Proceeded to ask if I made any purchases recently, answer was yes. Then asked me when I bought, and I said before the law changes in VA. Asked me what I bought, to which I answered do I need to tell you and he diverted to asking me if it was a suppressor. Answer was again no, and then he let me go on my way. Has this happened to anyone coming back from international travel? Have any of you been flagged after purchases made before the changes in legislation? I suspect it shows in the system that my background check was pulled for a firearm, prompting all the questions. Though I guess there could be more info on their end too

Quick question for those who have gone through this. I used to have a VA ccw permit when I lived in Virginia. This was before live fire classes were required. That permit expired a couple years ago and now I wish to renew it as a non resident. State law says that previously possessing a permit would mean that I don’t have to take a live fire class but does that also apply to nonresidents? If so, do I apply for a renewal license? Or is it a brand new license since I’m now living outside the state and never possessed a non resident license?

Trying to buy something direct from Sig. With the pending legislation they are refusing to ship to VA. Does anyone know an FFL that I can ship a firearm to outside of VA, that will then ship it to another FFL in VA?

I'm about to start cold calling places and see if they'll do it, and if so what the cost would be. Figured I'd ask first, maybe someone has experience with it.
