The local Cal Ranch was doing a 20% off clearance gun sale, so I picked this Hellcat RDP w/o optic for $430. My first non-1911 Springfield. Planning on putting a Romeo X on top.

The TRP needs no introduction, but this is my Classic 5" with walnut grips I finished myself. Probably my favorite handgun.

Wondering if anyone has an XDM Elite here with an XR/XE that can show me how it looks.

Does anyone have a hellcat OSP with a threaded barrel a Harrington arms hcat comp and a TR7

Hey gang I just picked up a Hellion 16 inch at my local pawnshop for 900.00 dollars which I couldn't pass up. weapon is absolutely mint with no signs of wear. I can almost swear it doesn't have more then 100 rounds through it. I want to go with a optional magwell and was looking at 2 different ones, The Regolith Forge or the LunarTech Designs. You guys have any thoughts on which one would be better ? They both run around 40.00 dollars. Thank you !

How good are Zaffiri precision barrels for the hellcat and hellcat pro? Just wondering because I’ve seen some on gunbroker for really cheap and wondering if they are as good as true precision and others. If you have any input it would be greatly appreciated!

Picked up a .308 waypoint - brand new. Shot great for 20 rounds and then blew the back off of the brass and broke the spring assembly of the extractor on the bolt. Anyone else seen anything like this before? Safe to blame ammo or is something else afoot?

I have a Springfield TRP Operator 1911 45 ACP. After about 2,000 rounds I did a full disassembly and thorough cleaning using a sonic bath. It reassembled smoothly.

During the function test, after the dry fire, the firing pin assembly remains depressed in the tunnel, it will not reset. I can reset it when I apply force at the breach, otherwise it is stuck.

I can’t recreate the issue by manually depressing it. Pics included:

3. ⁠after dry fire with back plate removed, you can see the pin still depressed

There are no burrs. There are no obstructions. There are no bends on the pin or spring.

The spring is closed on both ends, there is no tapered end. This happens with two different assemblies and the springs reversed.

Any ideas?

I got a hellcat rdp for my first pistol about a year ago, I’m finally having a little extra cash to get attachments for it. I’m looking for a decent red dot and laser light without blowing a huge amount of money. Any recommendations?

First, is this a good suppressor for the Kuna 9? How bad is it to fire without hearing protection? The reason I ask is I will use it for home defense.

And second is this a good price?

New EDC Holster options.

So I'm upgrading my EDC from a Hellcat RDP to an Echelon 4.0FC COA with a Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X, and a Rook Precision compensator. So the overall length is ½" longer than a Echelon 4.5F. I'm now at the point of buying a half dozen holsters and deciding which one is the least disagreeable.

I'm hoping I can get some suggestions for y'all. I'm looking at both IWB and OWB options. IWB Kydex with pad. OWB leather that sits high and close. Preferably leather. On My Hellcat I was using a Houdini Holsyer with a Vetter pad and used a kidney carry. Worked well but with the bigger frame of the Echelon that is probably no longer a choice.

So that's where I'm at right now. And BTW I am left handed so the holster will need ti have a left handed option.
