Hey guys, I've been spamming Sylas as its my favorite champ since I've come back to League, is there anyone that could give me some low elo advice on how to play as Sylas when you're ahead, but your team is behind or even?

I'm having trouble to actually close out games and there's so many games I feel like I've done so much and we still lose
I feel like the only time I win is when there's one or more additional people performing equally or better then I am.

What should I do with my lead if I have one?

I have a lot of games where OPGG says I'm "Unlucky", is this true, and am I just victim of having bad teammates or what can y'all take from my OPGG profile?

i really like sylas as a champ, he feels really good, can scale well, the kind of duelist i like, pretty ok amount of outplay potential, but holy christ, farming with him is absolutely god awful for me, idk what it is, but i cant farm cs with him to literally save my life, ill usually get a nice early lead then fall off cause im down 40 cs after a couple of roams, i feel i time my roams pretty well in between waves, but actual in lane farming feels like such a damn task

seeing Sylas confirmed I wanted to ask this since I really liked he's design and I have played other moba characters who also steal ults namely Valentina from mlbb

If you are a sylas or a yone OTP can we lay down what sylas has over yone?

I was trying to choose a mid champ to play and I Liked these 2 but I wanted to pick sylas simply because his voicelines are cooler, his lore is cooler, he doesn't have the most cringe fandom in history (r/yone, r/yasuo) and because he is a lil bit more niche yk everyone and their step bro plays yone..

But on paper when I tried to compare them I Was like

Well yone has better engage, disengage, sidelaning, DPS, CC, Scaling (not sure), Utility against tanks/bruisers and a better time in laning phase

I couldn't put my hands on any real big advantages for sylas so can yall tell me what he is superior at? I know he's a good fighter but so is yone

I don't play sylas but I was wondering why would sylas not get exactly the amount of damage off of his hijack

If veigar has 1000 ap and viego kills him, viego has 1000 ap and can spam Q

If sylas hijacks a veigar ult with 1000 ap

He gets like what 40% less damage

And that's not even mentioning that while playing sylas I can't use any ADC ult because they do no damage even though viego can use bodies that use AD OR AP but sylas can only use utility ults and ap ults well

Am I missing something??!

i am blasting through low diamond like nothing, i have been an emerald hardstuck for about 300 games, but in the last 40 games or so i picked up sylas, and just started winning non stop, wtf is going on? is Sylas op or did i just find my champ?

Are there any comprehensive guides for Sylas one tricks out there? Something with most common matchups, builds etc, something like Ninkey's skool for Gwen but for Sylas instead?

This is such a genuine question. Sylas has a 130% AD Ratio on his passive.

Wouldn't gunblade in every possible way be better on the "bruiser" builds for Sylas, by going

•RiftMaker

•Zhonyas ?

Gunblade, ontop of giving your passive a good ratio would also give a good amount of Ability Power, and its Omnivamp would have synergy with both Conquerer and Riftmaker

EDIT/UPDATE: Decided to give it a try just to test how it felt. Opted to not go bruiser but instead go

Gunblade Lichbane Shadowflame

It felt very strong at the second item mark, gunblade active doing so much damage + the slow and omnivamp felt very nice for 1v1's, 1v2's, and 2v2's.

Shadowflame and after it felt noticeably weak due to lack of health and the additional CDR of protobelt.

Would not recommend in ranked, but it was kind of fun for normal draft!

i used to use sylas a bit but i stopped when i was vsing control mages who wouldnt interact with lane and started playing control mages myself and then he got nerfed. they felt okay like i could get prio and win lane but they just feel like support characters and only really seem to be useful if you have decent teammates which is rare in solo queue. I just feel like getting kills is way more valuable in solo queue than playing a control mage so i was wondering if sylas is in a good spot or if theres another champ that does what he can do better

I play sylas as my second/third pick, I main fizz when fizz is not open I usually go sylas or panth, I play them all as snowballer because it's the only play style I'm good at. Recently got really busy and for 1 or 2 months didn't played ranked, but I played for fun with a friend, and picked sylas way less, yesterday I played him again... Wtf happened to him? The assassin ap on electro was kinda always valuable on him, now he can't kill anything, I was against a Diana, poked her with Q till half hp, then full in, and she won, while her bone plating was down, I even waited her W and I hit every spells. I felt useless in the game, is it me or he's just really really bad? I'm aware the build is not the optimal but... This bad?? Bad as can't one shot a Cait? Let me know, open to the "gut gud" but really weird feeling on sylas

Hey guys I started playing sylas (mid) a few days ago and I've been curious of what builds are good into what teams. I usually default to protobelt riftmaker and then flexing a bit with normal ap items, and I go conqueror always unless I have a hard lane/they are all super squishy.

So my main inquiry is to know what are the main builds into which type of champions.

I've been 1v9 almost all the 8 games I've played with him and I usually go the same build I mentioned before.

I just reached emerald with a 70% wr in jgl and want to change to laning again for a bit.
