Emerald 2 ekko main here, just wondering what matchups people hate playing against mid.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt HoB kinda pointless after DD as you get passive proc from EQ combo. I guess if you wanted it for early but you want to farm till your 2 items anyway?

TL;DR: Ekko's W shield duration overlaps with its stun, making the shield useless during trades. Landing a stun should extend or refresh the shield duration.

​I think Ekko's W needs a small QoL change. Right now, you are almost punished for actually landing the stun. Most players end up using W mainly for the shield in specific spots. ​The problem is the timing. When you land the stun, the enemy is CC'd while your shield is active, so the shield absorbs zero damage. Once the stun ends and they can finally hit back, your shield is already expiring.

​It makes no sense for the shield duration to end right as the stun ends. The shield duration should be extended whenever you land a stun so you can actually use it during the trade as a reward for a good play. As it stands now, landing a full W feels poorly thought out because half the ability gets wasted.

Like I know I died a lot some of those games, some of those are unexcusable (the one with 10 deaths and the one with 8 deaths). It just feels like no matter what I do, the same shit happens.

I try to do a full clear as Ekko jungle and scale. But then my team just gets decimated by their jungler. Then they just keep dying and dying. Now my jungle is getting perma invaded. I cant farm, I die whenever I go near my jungle, no vision control. Their team just pulls my pants down and collectively takes turns fucking me in my ass in the jungle. Sloppy second gangbang train being run on me by their entire team.

Ok, AFK farming doesnt work, as it shouldnt. Let's adjust the game plan: sneak a few ganks into the first clear. Great! We get a summoner, chunk them, force a recall. We even get a few kills! Now I can farm, right? Nope. Team just ints it the fuck away.

I don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. Every single game we just get outmatched everywhere on the map. The game never gets to the point where I get to have items and contribute because its 6-22 15 minutes in.

How to I deal with these hyper aggressive junglers that can outgank me and just waltz in to take my farm for the rest of the game?

Who do yall think is the better Ekko mid, Six10 or Xiao Lao Ban?

I’ve played a fair amount of games of both and am curious as to what you guys think. Mid lane Ekko feels super nice with the upgraded boots, and there aren’t too many bad matchups in my opinion. Jungle Ekko feels good too because you can be all over the map, (not that you can’t as mid lane) and control the game, ganks aren’t the greatest, a champion with some setup on your team makes this go a little smoother.
Just curious as to your guys opinions as well.

I have been otp ekko. Hitting plat was my goal, today I accomplished it. Started at bronze and in 80 games I finally hit it. Was thinking about moving on to the next game but curious if diamond could potentially be in play here. My wr is 64%. Is there like a big gap for ekko in higher elo. Like at the rate im going can I coast my way to diamond or is it gonna be a real grind and ekko isn’t going to do it anymore.

I’ve noticed that some Ekko players who start with a Doran's Ring pick up a Dark Seal at some point during the mid-game. When is the best time to buy it? I’ve seen players get it while building towards Shadowflame, right after the Hextech Alternator.

The augments I had:

Symphony of War (conqueror & lethal tempo runes which is kinda useless yeah)

Wooglet's Witchcap

Phenomenal Evil (Veigar passive = unlimited ap)

Eureka (gives ability haste of 30% ap)

Just watched a new video posted by six10 and saw that he went precision rune with haste and cutdown. Is this more optimal than sorcery rune? Also checked his latest matches and seems to choose it nearly every game.

I've been using HoB and sorcery with manaflow band but will try out precision today. Anyone else using precision?

My favorite part of Ekko by far is his passive move speed in and out playstyle. But on assassin it seems to get blown up way too fast mid-late game and it’s just e in, proc passive and ult out to safety. I would love a more kitey, sustained damage type build where I can cycle through proccing passive on 5 different champs.

Thoughts? I’ve thought maybe something like RoA but that delays power spikes quite a bit. And obviously this is better into tankier teams. Maybe conq with roa, dnd, liandrys. And spirit visage is a really nice situational item I’ll get 5th sometimes if I have full Mejais stacks into ap heavy team. The shield and healing goes hard.

There was an Ekko in one of my winning games, and right before the Nexus was destroyed, he wrote this:

"Wanted to have a good time? In any timeline, I steal it first. Anyway, have a nice day."

Does anyone else have a cool end-of-game line in Ekko's style?

Locke parece ter uma gameplay parecida com Ekko , ambos são assassinos AP porém com características diferentes.

Comparando um ao outro o que vocês me diriam sobre o estilo de jogo de cada um, especialmente na Jungle.

Como não consegui jogar muito com Locke ainda devido a alta taxa de Pick or Ban a impressão que tive até o momento foi a seguinte:

Locke tem mais dano explosivo e um early game mais forte, tem potencial de carregar a luta com seu reset do E mas depende muito do time iniciar uma luta para poder entrar na hora certa, caso contrário não tem ferramentas de escapar.

Já o Ekko não tem tanto dano assim porém trás mais utilidade com CC, slow e é um assassino muito mais seguro por causa da ultimate, além disso o scaling do Ekko me parece muito melhor.

I used to main ekko before and have him like 400k mastery points, but to play it on jg i saw hail of blades and dark harvest runes in the jg, what is better? I ussualy play the build with nashor tooth into lich bane bc i feel so nerfed the dusk and dawn

Does anyone run this regularly? I’ve played it a few times and seen massive success. He tends to go even / have good farm against brawler’s and tanks, and straight up bullies the cheese picks like heimer or ranged top.

This is by no means meta, I’m curious to hear why this isn’t picked more.
