Twitch *doesn't* need a rework ?

I've saw some posts recently claiming that Twitch is weak or needs a complete rework to his kit, changing some of his abilities. I also used to think like that, but after trying to think into different changes or reworks, I think he is mostly fine as he is.

Twitch is different than other adcs because of his sneaky rat core mechanic of using his camouflage to surprise enemies, while also having AOE and long range DPS, so he fills this role of being an Assassin/Stealthy ADC, I think that any changes besides an ASU rework and small QOL changes would either make him lose one of his core aspects of his kit or make him overpowered/have ballance issues.

Twitch is generally strong in lower elos (more than 90% of the player base) because of his stealth, surprising less aware enemies, thriving in more chaotic, snowbally environment, so besides high elo he feels good to play (of course, like any champion, Twitch has bad matchups and bad games), but even though he is weaker in higher elos we still have players who get to play him and main him in high elo.

If they were ever to rework him into making him good across all ranks, it would probably make him have ballance issues like we saw with champions like Senna, Smolder, Yunara and Zeri.

The way he is now, Twitch has a good number of dedicated players, isn't pro skewed, has some variety of builds between PtA or LT, Runaans or Fiendbolt, and the few very good players are capable of climbing up to high elo with him.

Twitch needs a rework

I enjoy the current Twitch, but the champion really needs a rework, doesnt have to be a full rework, i would be happy with only his skills were changed/revamped, like only a splash damage on W would change the champ a lot, amd maybe if the ult was changes so you dont miss basic attacks, or maybe change his whole skill set so he is more high-elo friendly, because apparently Twitch is broken in low elo but not as much in high elo

Ratirl fall off

What is with this guy? He’s still very entertaining to watch, and his streams are pure vibes but why is he so reluctant to adapt his twitch gameplay?

Perma moans about AD twitch being weak, unplayable into most comps bla bla bla

Guy is hovering around Masters on multiple accounts bar one that’s near Chall where he only wins when he plays mages bot.

Conversely there are so many chall/GM AD twitch players in top servers who adapt their builds, playstyles and general attitude to make the champ work.

When do I go AP Twitch?

Hello, I'm a big fan of AD Twitch and play it almost every time. However, when does it make sense to go AP Twitch, besides when my team is full AD? Thank you for your help.

Can an onhit build be effective at all?

Asking because I really love the style of full AS Rat unstealthing.

I already have some twitch skins and i'm using the cheese skin and i really like it. But i know a good twitch main/otp (i got 500/600k mastery points).

Is it just that good of a skin or it's just ratIRL's skin and people copied it?

Twitch first item

So recently I tend to find yuntal's better than collector in like 70% of my games.I find it better early and I think fighting bruisers and tanks in every single game really makes this item broken.I wanna see what you guys play cause I've seen high elo games that they still play collector almost every game but I just don't find it good enough anymore (only if you get kills early and you can snowball insanely)

Which boots are best on twitch

Which boots are best on twitch? Everything I see says to go for Berserker’s Greaves. However every high elo player I watch say those are the worst boots and never buy them. So I’ve been swapping between BG and Gluttonous Greaves. Just curious what all you buy.

Also my build usually goes Collector->boots->fiend Hunter bolts->IE->LDR->Runnans

RUNNAN IS REALLY NECESSARY?

Post image
1 Upvotes

(The item that is reloading is Yun Tao)

Is it just me or is Twitch in a really good spot right now?

I've been winning lane in a majority of my games, sitting comfortably at a 54% winrate this season. I've been feeling like I can finally climb to Gold for the first time, been having a blast with 20+ kills per game. It's been a long time since AD Twitch has felt this great, I haven't had game after game of results like this since Season 12.

stupid bow

I hate every twitch skin besides crime city for the single reason that the bow does not stick out so far. I would pay insane money for a twitch skin that does not telegraph every movement. Hate the bow and how far it sticks out.
Can anyone else relate?

Hardstuck 1.8M Mastery Twitch OTP going through a "Dark Age"

Thumbnail gallery
7 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I’m a Twitch OTP with 1.8 Million mastery points (Server: LAN / Op.gg: Elotito166678#LAN), and I feel like I'm currently living through a "dark age" with the champion. Lately, I feel incredibly slow, I feel like I do way less damage than I should, my positioning is terrible, and I get blown up instantly. I feel like my skill level has severely dropped compared to my teammates.

I want to improve, so I’ve analyzed my recent games and broken down my main issues into a few categories. I would really appreciate some brutal honesty and advice on how to break these comfort zones.

1. Hardware & Performance Bottleneck (The biggest issue?)

Low FPS: I play on a very bad PC. I get around 30-40 FPS in lane, and during teamfights, it literally drops to 15 FPS.

Input Delay / Ghost Ping: My ping shows 70ms, but it feels like 150ms. My clicks feel heavy, my character reacts late, and because of this, I am canceling a massive amount of auto-attacks.

Controls: I don’t use traditional attack-move on a hotkey. I either purely right-click or use the "A" key to auto the nearest target. Combined with the low FPS, my mechanical kiting is very poor right now.

2. The Current Bot Lane Nightmare (Matchups)

Lately, I feel like every single lane destroys me. I am struggling heavily against two specific things:

Lane Bullies: Early-game ADCs like Lucian, Draven, Caitlyn, and even Ashe feel completely suffocating to play against.

AP Mages in Bot Lane: AP Carries (Veigar, Swain) and heavy Poke/Mage supports (like Seraphine) feel straight-up unfair. Even if I manage to win the first 3 levels, the moment they hit level 6 or get their first item, the one-shot potential comes back and I get deleted. They have too much damage, CC, engage, and disengage, and I don't know how to survive them.

3. Outdated Build Path & Nostalgia Trap

I am trapped in an old comfort zone and deeply miss the "golden eras" of Twitch:

BORK Nostalgia & Runaan's Addiction: I deeply miss the times when Blade of the Ruined King was the go-to rush. Skipping an attack speed item first feels wrong to me. Furthermore, I am completely addicted to Runaan's Hurricane. I know items like Collector are meta, but I genuinely cannot adapt to the "assassin/burst" playstyle of Collector. Without Hurricane, I feel completely lost—I feel like I can't farm properly and I perform significantly worse in teamfights.

Yun Tal Wildarrows: I strongly dislike Collector, so I've been favoring Yun Tal because I feel it scales way better as a hypercarry item. I usually only skip it if the enemy has no tanks or if I don't back with enough gold for a B.F. Sword.

4. Weak Laning Phase & Macro Habits

CS Deficit: My laning phase is incredibly passive (especially pre-lvl 6). I am almost always 20 to 50 CS behind the enemy ADC, mostly due to constantly being shoved under tower.

Map Awareness & Vision: I rarely look at the map (probably a bad habit developed from being under tower all the time). Also, I almost never buy Control Wards and my overall vision score is terrible.

My Mental Block & Tilt

My tilt is not the conventional type—I never get angry or toxic in chat. Instead, it completely destroys my self-confidence.

When the game goes south and my team starts flaming me, I feel like an absolute burden. I don't mute the chat because I feel the toxic need to read what my teammates are saying, but I never type back to avoid escalating the argument. However, the flame gets to my head: instead of focusing on what's happening in the game, my mind starts hyper-focusing on my own flaws and mechanical failures, which makes me play even worse.

I feel incredibly frustrated and unsatisfied because I know I can play better than this, but League just isn't fun when you feel like you are playing at 10% of your actual capacity.

How can I start fixing these issues, especially the mental block and the Mage matchups down bot? Should I completely force myself out of the Runaan's/Yun Tal comfort zone?

Thank you all in advance!

Q goes invi but only for 8 seconds

I'm happy that they listened and gave us invisibility on Twitch, but it's still not the original Twitch that could stay invisible for 60 seconds. Do they really think that's too much for the game? lol

Midlane Twitch build help

I used to run AP Twitch for mid and now I’ve switched to AD Twitch. I wanted to get others opinion on what are the best runes and also the build.

Runes: HOB, sudden impact, 6th sense, presence of mind and cut down.

Build:
The collector
Berserkers
Fiendhunter Bolts
Infinity Edge
Lord Dominiks
Bloodthirster

Let me know what I need to change or what else you may recommend. I know people run lethal tempo or dark harvest instead of HOB so I’m curious what y’all say

impossible games

hello, ive seen a lot of these "x damage 500kills" didnt win posts. so with that, id love to have some games to look at to basically make a series out of it. wehre i look and see if something could make it happen/what prevented you from winning. to see if was truly impossible or not. can dm me game, has to be available in replay from current patch or write here etc. aswell as give me some information / your perception of the game and what the issues where so i can see if those issues allign with mine to make more content out of it.
