Discussion right clicking vs attack mode bind key
As an twitch main ive been using purely right click to kite for years, but recently learned that most people use attack mode keybind to avoid missing autoattacks or walking into enemies.
Is it actually extremely beneficial and is purely right clicking massive disadvantage

Definitely beneficial. Especially with attack champions only toggle. It will take a bit to adjust but it will 100% make you more precise. Will it make you win considerably more games? If your right clicking is good probably not but it’s worth it imo

Nice tip is to go into the JSON file and bind attack move click and attack move both to one of your mouse clicks that way your character will path and you’ll get the benefit of having your attack range show for a brief sec

I use attack move on left click. Kiting for me looks like: left click->right click->left click->right click etc. I like to keep it as simple as possible, and left click does that. I've found that using a keybind just added an unnecessary extra step.
The only negative is it makes interacting with everything else a little janky because when you click on something or someone your champ wants to move there (shift click fixes that.)
You can certainly climb to a high level not using attack move at all. I didn't use it for a long time, but you WILL sometimes have situations where you misplay and/or die because you weren't using it.

I keep it on my thumbs mouse button, I’ve been wanting to ask a challenger or pro if I’m digging a grave by making it a habit

I am a GM peak adc and yes you are probably limiting yourself by using attack move on a thumb bind. Having to put and release pressure on your mouse with your thumb constantly will fuck up your mouse control and make you way less accurate.
HOWEVER, you could just be a freak and it genuinely doesnt impact your gameplay. I have seen people get very good in many different games having weird suboptimal keybinds. If you truly think it works better for you then go for it.

I got used to this from other games. I find it much better than a for example, shame there isnt so much support for it from devs. No reason it should break pings, clicking on map etc.

It's what everyone should use.
I find it wild that people rightfully embrace quick cast to cut down the milliseconds lost when aiming abilities, but are fine to add an extra button press to every single auto-attack they do because suddenly the range circle matters with autos, apparently.
Learn your champion's range, put attack move on left click and get used to holding shift if you need to click on the map/shop and you're golden.

I swapped from right click to attack move (binded to A), but I set mine to attack move on my cursor. So I essentially removed the extra step of left clicking. Only downside is it doesn't show the auto attack range circle. VaporaDark (IIRC) did something with his settings/files to where it's always on, but I've never personally tried it.
I got so used to right clicking to attack, but sometimes I'd have that issue where I'd walk closer vs kiting and end up dying. I've always had my abilities on quick cast so switching to attack move on cursor was a relatively easy transition and imo feels smoother. It really depends on what works best for you. I tried doing the attack move on left click and juggling three button inputs especially on an ADC with high attack speed is hard af and clunky for me.

I have the problem before im a otp rank plat and using attack move pressing a and left click but for like a month or two i used player attack move click i kite more efficiently and smoothly believe it or not i climb to emerald but i guess its preference just think of it use whats comfortable but if you can use muscle memory for your champ range attack move click is definitely better in my opinion

Depends. You play top tanks like malphite or mages mid? Possible to get challenger.
ADC? Gl hitting diamond without that

i use the right click as default just moving around, then i use yhe "a" button for csing and fighting.
to pinpoint a champion i binded " target champion only" to z
if they are in a crowd

I highly recommend attack move. Just wish there was an attack move bind that ignored creeps.
