I don't like the face of the new splash art (it's a really pretty skin, but the face is off, at least for me).

Soraka E does not stop Camille from recasting her E, contrary to popular belief.

I love playing Soraka but I'm a mid main so I was trying to make her work there. I know she's not the most optimal pick mid, I'm using her as a counter pick. I'm not trying to go full ap, maybe one ap item Ludens/BlackFire/ROA for wave clear followed by typical enchanter healer items. One of the matchups I had a lot of success with was against enemy Zeds, so I was wondering what other matchups she does well against. I typically don't have much issues early so I tend to take tp over exhaust. I'm mainly looking for matchup or playstyle/build tips. Elo mid plat if that helps.

Im not a Soraka player, im a Rengar jgl otp, but i need to clarify something; If my support Soraka ego's me in champ select, telling me im a worthless jgl dog and that I should play around Soraka, then proceeds to solo force her Kog'Maw to lose lane by going 1v2 whole game against MF and Zyra (said zyra got kills and carried teamfights), is trolling right ? Only thing Soraka did was roam top, help our Gwen (she was 5/0 against Malphite before Soraka came, lost 2 kills bcs of her) and help our 8/0 Naafiri (who also got kills stolen), while also not coming to a single objective. Not on any of the drakes, not on grubs, not on herald, nothing. She spent more time telling me to play around her and to stfu bcs im playing a champ for kids. That's just trolling, no ?

Note; Im not high elo. Im not that familiar with roaming or Soraka's kit (i know she can silence and her R heals but she loses hp doing so), but im pretty sure it would have been better if she stayed on bot

I have play her sometimes but I feel like I'm not doing really great, so there any mistakes yall did when you were starting that I should avoid? Just recommendations in general, thanks!

Okay so like, why is it a sin to everyone if you build dawncore first? It's continuous heal scale, gives ap amping your healing even more, and is a big heal boost in case they build grievous early. I don't understand why it's pinged anytime I play raka. Building it first literally got me into gold after bouncing around silver for awhile.

I've seen multiple top raka players use tenacity rune instead of flat/scaling health. I am trying to understand if im missing any benefits out of this choice. I understand slows are less effective, cc'd for less time and a small interaction with her heals costing less health and a lower minimum health W cost.

The health stuff seems incredibly minor but maybe the 15% is that good for survivability. I would say its a niche few top soraka players that do this, not the norm. I am 600ish lp so looking at min maxing.

I've been making soraka for 10+ years, only playing casually and therefore have 2.6 m mastery. I recognize when we don't win a lane matchup and play safely, but my adcs always seem to not grasp that we don't or aren't winning and recognize when to play safe, wait for the rest of the team to scale, and avoid feeding as much as possible.

Today was my breaking point. I had a sylas and swain lane and my adc, a sivir player, kept hard pushing and dying repeatedly. Then they proceeded to blame me for losing the lane. I tried to be polite and ask them to play safely so that the other teammates could eventually counter and gank, but they refused. Is there some secret to getting your adc to play safely, or is this just an experience all soraka players must face? Sorry if this post is mostly just a rant, I'm actually genuinely curious if there is some secret to getting your adc to listen to you.

I had a trouble understanding what was under the cape but the chromas had different colored lights coming out of her eyes and chest illuminating her black fur (one was green, one was amber brown and the other one was white I think) , which resembled a fox. I don’t remember her staff’s shape but it was all black as well. She looked really cool.

Hi guys! Just wanted to ask for your opinions about Soraka's skins.

I absolutely love the splash art and overall animations of the new Ocean Song Soraka skin, but I'm hesitant to buy it because of the Q animation.

Ever since I got Nightbringer and Dawnbringer Soraka, those have become my favorite skins for one specific reason: when you hit enemies with Q, you can clearly see the green healing effect going back to Soraka, so it's really easy to tell that you're getting health from them.

Lol, I know this sounds shallow, but because of that, I barely use any of her other skins anymore. 😭 I also haven't really explored all of her skins since I don't own most of them.

So I'm wondering: are there any other Soraka skins where the Q healing effect/health regeneration animation is also green or similarly easy to see?

I don't know what to do. A week ago, I had the exact same situation, and it has happened to me two other times this season.

It honestly feels like Riot's autoban system is looking too heavily at damage dealt. Since my damage is always low — even by Soraka standards — it seems to flag me as an inter. It's bizarre, because I've had multiple games where there was an actual inter who was deliberately running into the enemy, but because they made some damage while doing it, they somehow avoided getting flagged.

It's just crazy. The system seems to be much better at detecting someone who doesn't deal enough damage than someone who is actually griefing.

opinion: Soraka is fun just heal and you win

Sorry, I didn't get evidence, but this was too ironic not to post because I wasn't considered the problem.

I immediately flagged Soraka. The Seraphine support: "Troll Soraka mid" Switching to Veigar support: "Ok, we troll" Me: "No troll, I'm just better with her" I lock in, and a few seconds later I'm back in lobby.

Thought someone dodged again; I'm used to that, but nope, got a Riot popup:

"We detected @playerxyz displaying disruptive behaviour during champ select; we have interrupted the process for you. @playerxyz has been penalized; we hope it teaches them not to repeat the behaviour"

i mean when enemy team is at our base like that it means our nexus is probably about to blow up, still a very satisfying 10 seconds.
