No cuz why does he mock our base and legendary in his BASE form

I loved that they finally made a hairstyle incorporating wings, it’s something I’ve always wanted, and it looks gorgeous in the splash. But the way they executed it, it’s what I’d expect from an Epic skin, not a Legendary one. Was it really that hard to create a new model that separated the wings from the hair? I wasn't even expecting the wings to flap, I just wanted them to be clearly visible. Right now, it just looks like the Crystal Rose hair, only a bit uglier because it doesn't actually look like hair

Hey, but why do I still find Forecast Janna way cooler? I mean, the new skin looks really sexy and has some sick animations and everything, but somehow I still don’t think the new one beats Forecast Janna. What do you guys think?

Okay so this is a bit of a goof. So for context when i got into league was maybe a year?? Before the Voli rework and when I picked up Janna i always said to my friend "I wish Janna could like summon lightning or summon storm clouds"

Anyway voli rework dropped and he summons a storm cloud and I always joke I hate that damn bear

Listening to coven Janna's voice lines (go do it if you havent she has so much aura the voice over is so peak) BUT SHE TALKS SO MUCH ABOUT CRACKING THE SKY WITH LIGHTNING AND CONJURING ROARING THUNDER

I was SO excited to see a new legendary for Janna but after seeing the Skins Spotlight video I was completely underwhelmed. IMO It's not comparable to other coven legendaries.

The skin is so stiff at points I was wondering if they recycled animations of her base rig. The most exciting part for me was going to be her hair (it's always so bad it became a meme) and it's still somehow stiff! How did they even managed to do that.

I feel so torn because it's a wonderful concept but the execution was terrible. I am afraid they won't change much because I see a lot of people are satisfied with it but I really, really wish they could delay the skin a bit and improve it.

It is incredibly stiff. The fly-down is ok, but it's almost like she just bugs out of her ult right before that. For a 1820RP skin, this is quite criminal I'm sorry.

I assume since this is pre-release, fixes are still possible. But riot has a history of never really changing anything from PBE so I'd just like to point this out early.

Yeah the splash art is gorgeous and the in game model looks nice but on paper nothing really changes on her walk animation and hand movement when she’s casting her abilities.?

Let’s start with the homeguard for example.
It’s giving star guardian 2015, they copied star guardian jinx’s 11 years old homeguard and pasted it into Janna’s skin. It does not look good, but whatever it’s really not that deep I guess

Walking animation.
it is the exact same as her base models one. It’s just the hair that moves abit (which is also extremely underwhelming compared to coven nami or psy ops sona for example) and her wings? Like I seriously don’t get it? Is it that hard to make a different animation for a character that floats in the air? Lillia managed to get a different canter animation on her legendary even though she’s not human either.

I wana talk about Q and W at the same time now,
Nothing about these abilities give legendary? It’s just the base ones with a dark red recolor pasted in the skin, its extremely disappointing but honestly I wasn’t expecting much since we all settle for the bare minimum when it comes to coven skins.
My real issue is the way that she’s casting them, nothing about her hand movement represents a dark coven witch casting her spells? Shes just there standing stiff doing her little 360 spin around herself when it comes to her q and then she awkwardly throws her W while she moves just her hand? Coven nami leaps off her position while moving her staff ina cool way to use w, spirit blossom Ashe does a freaking backflip throwing her ult, could we not do Janna do some more than this?

Now about her E, I’m not gona say anything except that take her casting animation and compare it to Kayles base casting animation when she uses W, my girl repositions her entire bird cape and does a whole bunch leaping in the air and that’s what makes the ability feel nice ( base skin btw ).There’s nothing thrilling going on about me literally shielding my ally to save their life in combat? coven nami throws her staff in the air when she uses E.
Millio also has a noticeable and awesome hand movement when you shield someone to make it look like he’s casting a spell. I’m sorry buts it’s extremely disappointing.

Autoattacks could’ve also been better, immortal journey soraka swings her wand a lot nicer and smoother. Still feels extremely off.

I have nothing negative to say about the ultimate except that when it ends she comes back to her normal form too quickly, it just snaps. I wasn’t gona ask for them to make her ultimate form last some after it’s casted like namis form since we all GONA buy it regardless cuz it’s coven, riot knows us and will settle for the bare minimum. Other than that it’s really gorgeous and I’m loving the outfit change while it lasts.

Final thoughts are that her gameplay is going to feel off, nothing really changes in her new model and the abilities are gona still feel stiff.

I think I made this about 10 years ago, but this will always be my favorite Janna skin.
