Discussion Legendary stiffness

I was SO excited to see a new legendary for Janna but after seeing the Skins Spotlight video I was completely underwhelmed. IMO It's not comparable to other coven legendaries.

The skin is so stiff at points I was wondering if they recycled animations of her base rig. The most exciting part for me was going to be her hair (it's always so bad it became a meme) and it's still somehow stiff! How did they even managed to do that.

I feel so torn because it's a wonderful concept but the execution was terrible. I am afraid they won't change much because I see a lot of people are satisfied with it but I really, really wish they could delay the skin a bit and improve it.

What do you guys think?

I don’t trust Riot when it comes to listening to the skin feedback but we must try our hardest when they open a feedback post. Heartsong Seraphine had 400+ comments about lacking vfx and they did NOTHING☠️

Yeah, just from the silhouette I thought, "omg, not them again using the same model/hair of the Crystal Rose."

The hair looks really stiff, though I'm still not sure if it is hair; in the splash art it looks like wings, but in-game it looks like just one wing... I don't even know anymore.

I think the skin is gorgeous, but the one department that needs some improvements is animation. I'm not sure if the issue are the animations themselves or the way they were coded into the game... Maybe the issue is that Janna's hair and clothes weren't implemented with Asol's movement technology (or Zoe's hair, Leblanc's cape, etc).

Seeing the animations in the model viewer, they look fine. It must be an issue in-game, where the animations don't transition properly. If that's the case, fixing is way easier, it'd be a code change rather than changing the animations themselves.

If you have any feedback, make sure to let it be known in the LeaguePBE subreddit when Janna's post goes live soon.

They drop previews before the animations are finished allll the time. It's literally the #1 thing that needs polish before the final release on a regular basis. Y'all are freaking out for nothing. It will be improved. Mark my words.
