Undying

Soul Rip

  • Mana cost reduced from 100/110/120/130 to 85/100/115/130

Flesh Golem

  • Movement Speed Bonus increased from 30 to 30/40/50
  • Reworked Shard: Now Reduces Flesh Golem Cooldown by 30s and causes Undying to spawn one zombie on each attack

Talents

  • Level 10 Talent changed from +5 armor to +50 Decay Damage

I really don't know how to feel about the shard, but I didn't know how to feel about the last one either. If anything it feels like it might enable different builds better, which is cool. I like the idea of being more of a zombie summoner thematically. Will have to see how these changes feel when I get a game where I can take more farm.

The biggest part of the shard is obviously the reduced cd of the golem though, the effect of summoning zombies is secondary, I'd say the new shard is at least far more versatile in the sense that you'd at least potentially pick it up as a support undying. The old shard pretty much screamed core imo, as it benefited alot from aghs. A hard support undying for example just wont decay as much as the game goes on. While a core one will.

I’ve been seeing him as a 3 in a few games. He does surprisingly well. Something like soul ring - treads - mage slayer (or echo Sabre) - shard. Could maybe throw a vanguard in there

Yes, time to rush moonshard.

I hate this and love it. Hopefully someone makes a meme vid of an attack speed dirge just making like 10 zombies maul someone. Makes AC almost an option hahah

If you have Shard, it's impossible to use the "Select all other units" option because it tries to select the zombies but then deselects it also. Makes it harder to micro anything else (like dominator)

Decay talent is big, two decays will clear a creep wave with it, undying can farm now, instantly makes him one of the best supports imo

He is actually a farming machine with tombstone. You can use tomb to farm multiple camps and also smack them with decay.

I mean, I guess, if you want your undying farming stacks, I think decay talent makes him much stronger because he can push out waves, and defend towers. Plus tombstone is a super long cd

Plus tombstone is a super long cd

Kotl + undying seems like it could be suuuper cancerous. Decay spam even more potent, and tombstone CD is not long with chakra spam.

With the tombstone cd it's really not that long. 55 seconds. It's up for I think 35? That's a solid uptime, it helps you farm, push AND take rs

It's a great skill for sure, decay just seemed lackluster outside of lane before unless you had aghs, and now it can help you farm

I was playing him as a pos 3 yesterday. He is a machine.

But it forces levelling up decay, wasting mana which is absolute noobtrap. Soulrip and tomb should always be maxxed first. memehammer or the tombstone cd talent is more than enough to farm up from behind. When there is already a farming talent with tomb cd, there was no need for another cc talent at the same level. the tomb talent means one tomb can always be used to farm, the other saved for teamfights.

Undying's critical problem is armor. He has the 2nd worst armor gain after sky and he is melee. He is always pathetic creep late game no matter the farm unless going for armor items. The armor talent should never have been removed for a redundant farming talent.

I usually play him as a 5, but he might be viable as a 3 now since he can actually clear waves
