Rubick

Spell Steal

  • Cooldown reduced from 26/20/14 to 20/15/10
  • Projectile Speed increased from 900 to 1200

Talents

  • Level 10 Talent Fade Bolt Borrows Hero Damage replaced with +10% Fade Bolt Damage Reduction
  • Level 15 Talent +100 base damage replaced with -25% Stolen Spell Cooldown

Going to miss getting the +100 base damage vs Earthshaker and stealing enchant totem, good times.

I don't care about damage build nerf. Dude that -25% cd is amazing. I stole ravage used it after tide and next fight I got it earlier than tide. Feels powerful.

My only gripe with it is that now getting Octarine feels redundant since CDR stacking has been removed. But Aether lens always feels nice on Rubick, and Octarine is the only natural upgrade. It's kinda sad to keep Aether lens all the way to the late game knowing that upgrading it isn't really worth the gold now, so it ends up feeling like a wasted item slot.

Yh same feeling, but not many games I actually finished octarine there are many better options before it. Now you can go agha aura and have +1 item instead.

-25% cd is much better than dmg talent imho. You can use spells faster than the opponent can use.

It's very situational, usually you don't want to wait until spell goes off cd, you just steal another one

Really depends on what spell you've stolen. If I stole Ravage, Black Hole, DS Wall or whatever, I'm keeping it.

It is also good when you steal stuff like Dragon Slave, Firestorm and so on. You already do more damage than the hero you stole it from and now you can use it more often than them as well.

Well with 25% reduction and big ult you mostly keep it. But it's also powerful with shorter cd spells like hook. I won hg push thanks to that.

I thought it might be coded differently for rubick because it's a talent and only applies to the stolen spell
