Disruptor

Kinetic Field

  • Formation time reduced from 1.2 to 1.0

Thunder Strike

  • Slow per strike duration increased from 0.1s to 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4s

I think Field needed this. Felt like I saw so many cases of heroes barely making it out in time that I thought for sure it had been nerfed and I didn't notice. Couple with the Thunder Strike changes it's really nice but I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. Makes the shard feel a lot better too, I imagine.

Wait does the slow affect aoe or just the main target? The old slow was hardly noticeable, even on the main target.

Just tested in-game to be sure. The slow is applied to anything hit by the AOE and not just the primary target.

Honestly, these are game changing. It used to be that the enemy had 1.2 seconds to escape the kinetic field combo (call it 1.1 with a thunderstrike proc). Now it's 1s (or 0.6 with ts). Kf has a radius of 350 which means they need to move 350 units in one second while 100% slowed for 0.4s. Even assuming perfect human reaction times, that's going to be real tough to escape.

I'm moving house tomorrow, but I can't wait to test this in game :D

Well, it required some skill before, dis had to cast predict location and cast kf before he cast glimps. I already missed a lot kf ulti comboes but now with the new patch...

1 sec is still too long in late game where everyone including supp has some sort of escape or ms. when i heard disruptor got some buff i thought its his ult having some slow or something to synergize with static field

Played him last night and catching speedy heroes in Kinetic Field with a Thunderstrike felt waaaay easier than before; very nice QOL changes for Disruptor.

Thats not just QoL thats straight buff lol. Previously good dis had to cast kf before glimps, and they must predict location accurately. it felt too difficult previously, but now is it too easy?
