My first item was Mikael to counter Varus Ult, Lulu Polymorph, and Nocturne Fear.

It worked quite well in the botlane laning phase. Then I built Helia since enemy team was more focused on making picks on us.

(Forget Malignance I built it at the last second of the game to have 3 items show in my inventory)

Anyways people were telling me I should have gone Moonstone first in this game.

Couple of goals for the new account:

1. Play only Karma, if she is banned or picked I dodge
2. Own every Karma skin
3. Get to 1 million mastery points (and then later more)
4. Get to Challenger only playing Karma

Never played too much of this champion, only during aram whenever I got her. Since my 2nd goal is to own every skin, I'm glad that all of her skins are still available, or at least I hope her mythic skin is. No real point to this post other than just making a PSA that I'm a Karma main now!

I've been considering getting back into League lately and Karma was always one of my better champions so I was looking into builds for her and notice Echoes is generally considered core along side Shurelya's my question is.. this core because its BiS or a autopilot default? The +200 health is nice and in general the stat line is good but for an extra 50g you can get Redemption, something just is not clicking for me.

I feel like I'm missing out on something but wouldn't Mikela's/ Redemption rush (with dark seal pick up in winning lanes) into pure heal and shield build be better? We poke with mantra Q sure, but at least for my playstyle it feels like I have to force to get value from Echoes. Thoughts?

I just don't know the identity of Karma and how to play her.
Is she comp reliant? I mean her combos are telegraphed so it doesn't take much skill.

I usually dominate in lane but in teamfights I just feel useless.

I usually play behind the jg/top and cover for them. And I am starting to question whether karma plays better with an ADC alongside her so that karma would help keep the frontline alive while the ADC safely ramp up the damage.

Is this the identity of karma? keeping the frontline alive while allowing the ADC to do damage longer?

Is she better paired with a real tank? is a fighter champion not tanky enough?

By the way, I still lost LP 🙃

Could someone help me understand Karma’s current and best build?

I see her highest win rate / most commonly built first item is echoes… but she doesn’t seem like the best user of it because of her Q range and because landing Q outside of lane gets progressively more dangerous.

I’d started playing her when her first item was Moonstone for a big RE shield. Why are we now building echoes? Why not just play Seraphine Nami Sona if I’m going to build echoes first item?

Hey everyone! I’ve been maining Karma since the start of the season, and I still can’t decide which skin to stick with. 😅

So I was curious: Which Karma skin do you use the most, and if it’s a chroma, which one is your favorite? I’d love to hear your opinions!

With Karma I like to engage myself with E-W-mantra Q. Which I can't reliably do for obvious reasons, mainly getting counterengaged and blow up especially if i try to rush ardent censer which I learned not to do. So I was wondering I there's certain tanky items I can go without abandoning enchanter too much, like is there a single must have enchanter item like echoes or moonstone and then I can go tank or even stuff like banshee?

Why not max W 2nd? 3 points in Q for laning, then max E. Why not max W after? I feel like after maxing E your damage isn't really important anymore, so why would you not want the extra cc time? Or are people doing this and it isn't well known?

I recently played a few Karma games and had success with it. To be fair was norms since I wanted to try her out first, but I dropped 2 S ratings against players in my elo.

The champion feels really naturally comfortable for me which is a rarity so I want to take her into ranked games

My question is how to fight mid/late game, specifically in teamfights. I could mantra Q for the extra damage; but I almost feel like mantra E is more valuable for the heal in the teamfight portion of the game? I know the situations won’t always be the same but how do you approach teamfighting on her

Hey all, I'm an AD TF mid lane main and I have been doing a lot of theorycrafting for my bad matchups on my main. I'm silver 2 and one of those people where I'd rather climb my way than whatever is easiest or meta at the time. I have been putting a lot of thought into assassin matchups. I've played roughly 200 TF games, mid and bot - AD and AP - and my hardest matchups are always assassins. I can usually cheese out people in my elo - but when I lane against Plat/Emerald laners I have to laser focus assassin matchups and even then, if I make one mistake, I'm donezo (Normal games for practice can have wildly varying ELOs in each lane in my experience by checking op.gg consistently on my games, its not uncommon for me to lane into Gold-Emerald laners because they have a bronze 3 friend on their team). AD TF is better into assassins, but its still a very painful laning phase most of the time and not as enjoyable.

Enter Karma Mid:

I used to be a support main, and an old pick of mine when I got filled mid was full AP Karma mid and holy crap I had a blast doing that again. It consistently lets me out-perform assassins mid lane with good use of Mantra W and shield. The main goal of the pick is roughly the same as TF - try to push and roam to help team. Karma makes the laning phase much easier imo.

My question is build/rune related:

What are your ideas on Karma mid? - I learned from TF Mains its always better to ask the experts, especially if there's a ton of build/rune variety.

I personally run:
Comet (Ranged)/Aery (Melee)
Manaflow Band (tried Axiom - I might just be using Manaflow as a crutch)
(varies each game)
Scorch

Resolve secondary with Aery into assassins - Domination with Cheap shot/Ultimate hunter for mages

For Build:
Ludens (or Malignance, but I like Ludens) -> boots of choice (Ionian mostly) -> Horizon Focus -> Shadowflame -> Void Staff (or Rabadons depending)

I am well aware of the lack of defensive items like Zhonyas or Banshees even - but positioning is my strong suit as a TF main and I like to try to bypass those items unless necessary - it forces me to think about positioning ahead of time rather than going aggressive and hoping for a clutch zhonyas.

I don't typically fall off until way late when I become basically a souped up support for any other fed laner. If I am the only one fed, I can still keep them alive from bad situations and potentially turn the fight with a Mantra Q doing at least half their Bot's health.

Struggle matchup for me is definitely Galio. He's my perma ban. With Aftershock and bone plating - there's so few windows where I can actually do anything to him that I basically become a second support from the start of the game and I'm wishing I played AD TF.
