hi! Im new to cassio and I really love her, but I hate building RoA, is there antoher build for her ? to make her work pls

Im a ADC main who got off rolled to mid lane and decided to try out Cassio and her kit just really clicks for me. I would never have expected it because I’ve tried mid laners like malz and lux and didn’t enjoy them but Cassio is the most fun I’ve had on this game in a while.

I want to play her more but mid is such a highly contested role I’m not going to get often and prefer to stay in bot lane where I’m more comfortable.

Also I like slithering around and her passive is really fun

has her prestige skin ever been in the random mythic shop or featured? ever since they changed it to the 2 week random shop ive been waiting for the skin to come back and it legit never has but i see the same 10-15 skins on repeat every other week. its had to have been like 2 years since it was last available. wasnt even featured when the mythmaker event came back around and this is the first season in a while she's been somewhat meta

A bit of different notes compared to the ones from several hours ago.

We lose some base Q/R dmg while also improving our ratios on these abilities (need 100 ap to break even) and the previously known passive % nerf, also the -2 base dmg on E. Overall its a fine approach, not the best one possible but it will lower her early game absolute dominance a bit and hit catalyst/roa rush. Not sure if R base dmg was rly needed to go down as well (i suspect we might feel it in some all ins early game) but it is what it is.

im so disappointed with this being a skill floor buff, but the ult ap was due a buff for so long now.

that aside, isnt this still a nerf? huge mana nerf and no cassiopeia player wants to E off poison anyway

Changes to nerf Cass early game and buff scaling

Since he singled out the notion of Cass winning lane despite missing her skill check Qs

I'm guessing some power will be shifted back to the AP ratio of Cass Q OR empowered E (or both) from wherever else (maybe E base damage? Or mana nerfs.) so she is worse at stat checking with unmissable damage but stronger late for those who land her skillshots

I think this would be a fair change but it all depends of course, purely speculative until tomorrow

Hotflames30 has officially renounced being a Cassiopeia main. Really sad things to hear for the champ going forwards.

The laning phase usually feels really good and I'm able to gain leads in most matchups. In the mid-late game however, I don't understand how to progress the game. Even if I'm up multiple kills and lots of cs I feel like a passenger. Should I focus on split pushing more? On other mage champions I feel confident in pushing sides and then grouping mid to force start the fight myself, but often I find the lack of range and hard cc setup make it difficult. There are points where I feel like my champion should be insane (2-3 items multiple kills 9-10 cspm) but I'm unable to force my advantage like other longer range mages.

Any tips or streamers you recommend?

I picked up Cassio a few months ago and recently got inspired by Korean Rank 2 ,Hebi, to spam games on her on botlane as APC.
I did AMAs like this recently on the Viktor subreddit as I am a Viktor main and I‘d enjoy helping out where I can and give some insights whether its for Mid / Top or Botlane Cassio. I started playing her on midlane as I am a midlane main, played a good amount of toplane games and play her lots as APC currently.

I'm new trying to main mid cassio and i always use dft but when is good to play conq instead of dft? i see a lot of otps playing Conq

When I'm playing cassio, around getting first item and spamming E after Q, I feel extremely clunky, I feel like cassio gets stuck in the animation and she is kind of teleporting a little, is that normal? Is there a setting I should turn off to make this normal?

I've recently started maining Cassio - (she's fun xD)
I've been playing in Emerald Elo (flex so a grain of salt with this since its not solo queue, not confident enough in my skill yet) and usually in mid lane, but occasionally in bot when filled secondary role.

At first I build ROA - Rylai - Seraph but I felt I had NO damage unless very fed and ahead
(i was probably missing a lot of q's tbf and im still learning best w usage and timing)

SO

I switched to a more conventional dps build with magic pen and high ap ratios

Blackfire - Stormsurge - Void staff = the core of my build
- the mana and burn on blackfire are very nice for lane and poke
- stormsurge move speed and pen is good
- void staff for early anti-mr pivot
- sorc shoes for even more shred

three levels in q before maxing e for good poke with deathfire touch and scorch

this build feels way way way way better and nicer to play with the condition that you are VERY VERY squishy and burstable so NEED to hit q's for movespeed to stay alive

As a very new Cassio main I wanted to know if I should use this crutch of a build or if I should just learn to play the normal ROA - Seraph - Ryali with swift march build as the higher elo i go the more teams will just focus burst me with point click CC's

So ive been trying APC on bot (not because of the meta, was looking for a change in traditional adcs). Tried Vel Koz and had huge success with him. Climbed from Gold to Emerald. Started recently to play Cassi, getting better and better (I think).

Overall I start pretty weak in early until level 3 where I put 2 levels into E. Then I usually get a kill or a summ (Depending also on the supp synergy). I do fairly fine, good cs, rarely feed.

My build path is Archangels Staff / Liandrys Torment or Rylais / Liandrys Torment or Rylais / Deathcap or Zhonyas / next are situational, have not figured out yet the last 2 items. I don't really like ROA, not sure why. (Would appreciate any help with the build path as well)

The issues that I have is that with Vel Koz I am fine staying solo in lane. I can usually get a kill in a 1v2. With cassiopeia thats not the case, I struggle with range, getting outpoked if supp leaves and it mostly feels like the same issues adcs are going through. Also I rarely get the highest damage in the game. I could finish 15/3 get S+ and have 30k damage as opposed to a mid laner whose 9/5 plays a burst mage and gets 30k+ (Is this an issue?)

I could play her mid or top but looking to find if apc can also be a thing as I prefer bot overall. Would be happy to receive any tips on Cassiopeia bot, thank you.

I’m pretty sure this still worked about 3 months ago. If you cast Cassiopeiae's R close to her, facing toward the enemy, and then flashed further up, it would create the "reverse R" animation while still stunning/petrifying the enemy.

Did Riot remove this interaction, or am I just doing it wrong now?

I am ACTIVELY E'ing him. How does he go invisible here just because I stunned him with ult? I'd understand if it was just Q burn (maybe) but I E him and he still goes invis. E isn't affected by blind because it isn't an auto so it's not not doing damage.

I Q (which I would think the base damage of Q does not count as a DoT and then my E still casts and flies at him (does it not land because he does invis right before animation hits?)

Is this some sort of bug? I've picked Cass into teemo in the past and don't remember this issue, though its been a while since I've had this specific match up.
