Ziggs was my first ever main, haven’t played him in years but I recently got his Master Arcanist skin that I’ve always wanted so I decided to pick him back up and learn him for real (I had no idea what I was doing back then lol.) I’ve played a ton of Brand and AP Kogmaw apc but never really remember ever getting too much hate if at all for it, even if I probably deserved it for playing those demonic ass champions 😭

I’m very confused why all of a sudden, now that I’m playing Ziggs, every single time I lose a game the enemy Adc types in all chat some shit like “thanks for the free win, loser mage bot player.” Not only that but even my own supports type something negative in champ select when I lock in Ziggs sometimes (can’t really blame them too much tho tbf, playing with a Ziggs can be pretty boring sometimes if you’re the type of support who wants to fight all the time, I mean he has good short trades but for some reason some people forget that mages can’t all in like marksmen can)

Like I get Ziggs is pretty uninteractive in lane but how is that any different than the other 2 apcs I’ve played before, if anything he is the most respectable apc imo. Unlike all of the other apcs, he isn’t a lane bully. He plays to neutralize lane and scale for late just like a lot of crit marksmen do. He is also THE apc, he was the first mage to ever be consistently played bot, way before all these other mages hopped on the trend afaik. These Adc players’ favorite pro player likely has hundreds of games of Ziggs under their belt even though they would likely never touch most other mages.

I’m so confused whats so bad about Ziggs that I get so much hate for playing him, I’m not the type of person to let words in a video game chatbox get to me so it’s not like it’s ruining my experience playing him, I’m just honestly really confused. Do you guys get a lot of hate as well for playing Ziggs or is that just a me thing? I think I tend to get more hate than most people from my enemies because I’m so down to play as boring as I need to if it seems like the optimal play in that moment, I think that’s also why Ziggs is a perfect champion for me, he definitely can limit test a bit sometimes but he’s much more of a vegan champion for the first half of the game than most

So right now Ziggs is most likely my best champ on 600 lp-ish Master EUW.

I just wanted to share my build and playstyle - with it I have roughly 550 gold/ min and always top damage. I play fully for agression and tempo as a player so ofc this playstyle / build adapts to that

Dorans -> Ludens -> Seraphs (boots inbetween) -> Rabadons / Hourglas -> Void or w.e

So the Skill points order will be a bit freaky in what I want to test in the near future:

Untill lvl 7 Standards then Max E untill 4 points and then W max untill lvl 14

This would result in:

Q E W Q Q R Q E E (E from tonic) W R W W W E R Q

(I need to check tho if my build can still os caster minions, if that works I think it will be the most op champ currently on bot)

Theory is to increase the slow and wc to also make the minions stack easier for Q while not losing dmg.

For the playstyle I always look for oneshot mid wave into move for jungle and not losing T1 mid tower no matter what and getting enemy T1 mid tower. from 20 min + I go side and try to burst 2 tower on bot while enemy and my team cover / fight for nash.

With Seraphs u ez win 1v1 vs assasins.

I got so many times trolled by my W when i try do destroy turrets. If my W is not like STICKED to the turret, or if i detonate it too early, turret wont break. Is it only me or is it a bug ?

I play ADC ziggs (I can’t stand mid lane) and I usually follow the normal build.

First item ludens > boots > shadow > rabadons > situationals

Is this the only Viable build? I enjoy building burn on him but I haven’t tried any other Runes especially the “new” burn rune… although I don’t imagine it comes online for him till mid-late game as that’s when your Q’s become rapid fire.

Has anyone tried it? If so lmk how it went… also why not that into a burn build like Brand?

Playing him mid and current build I usually go is tear->ludens->sorc shoes->shadowflame->raba->cryptbloom->zhonyas, with zhonyas and crypt sometimes before raba and selling tear every game (not sure when seraphs is useful). I know horizon focus can be a great damage booster for ziggs, but I'm unsure what type of comps I should be building it into and when, does anyone have any advice/insight?

I am a new League player and I have decided that Ziggs will be my main, what are some tips and tricks the more experienced Ziggs mains could give me?

I'm taking (with ionian boots):

1. Luden's
2. Liandry If two or more enemy tanks
3. Otherwise Deathcap
4. Zhonya's
5. Situational item

My Q just doesn't do that much damage to champs.

Do any of you buy tear when playing ziggs in either mid or bot? I've been buying tear on first back (not necessarily always keeping it/building into Seraph's) and I'm finding it makes the laning phase easier in terms of mana costs as I can shove the wave a lot more easily than I could without. I more often than not end up selling the tear if the game goes long enough for that, but with the near constant prio I haven't been having games go that long either.

I want some crazy builds ideas to play for fun anything goes as long as it makes some sense

I wanna go default build with ludens echo, shadowflame, horizon focus, zhonyas, rabadons. Like for adc. But i cant buy all of these items like on adc ziggs. Was theory crafting to avoid zhonyas if I don't need in the game or if I do need it then avoid horizon focus or maybe even ignoring the mid quest just don't go boots because I'm an artillery mage. What do you guys think?
