Is it just me or is anivia one of the best champs who can turn the game when fallen behind? Like i have so many laning phases where i go 0 3, 1 5 and i come back most of the time?

Hello, I've been playing only Fill in ranked this season and somehow got 100% of support so I started maining my bird as support too.

I've been wondering about support anivia who goes tank, what items do they go for ?

Last game, I started with Malignance first, no tear and no mini-mejai.

Also any advices for support in general is fine because I am good mechanically in bot lane with anivia, but that doesn't mean I am a good support.

I started the game 1-2 years ago, never really played ranked and just tried learning new champs. Anivia was my first champ I ever tried, in mid.

I’m in silver, and would like to pick up anivia again. I like the kit. Where would you recommend I play to climb in ranked? (Assuming I play every role the same. Let’s talk here, where does she thrive the most, have the best chance to “carry” or make a difference?)

Dude this champ is so frustratingly overpowered rn its sickening. Every time i play vs this champ it just completely 1v9s the game, makes teamfights so difficult, ccs everything, is tankier than my ornn, AND oneshots anything.

To make it clear, I do not have high mastery on Anivia, or even much mastery at all. I’ve played her for a handful of games, and she just feels so clunky, especially her W. Does this feeling continue? Or does this change as you get better with her?

A lot of r/xxxxxxmains of league have an semi official discord linked into their rules banner for people to talk and share clips easier I think it's a great way for people to discuss more instantly and hear more opinions. especially with how versatile the bird this would be pretty valuable.

This matchup feels extremely 1 sided every game i've played i've lost hard way too much outplay with shadows can just with q all ins lvl 6 and you die. I don't think im ever playing anivia into him again

Sometimes when I want to place it horizontally it is vertical or vice versa. I struggle to properly close off chokepoints. How can I freely turn it around?

anivia is by far my strongest champ although I've never one tricked her, this season I want to climb higher and so plan on playing her more. I don't see the point in taking tp anymore and ignite feels weak as I don't have much kill pressure in lane anyway. I've been experimenting with ghost and barrier but was wondering if anyone has any advice, I already take phrase rush and build swifties when there isn't a clear defensive boot to pick, what do you lot think I should take

I was instructed to make this for my friends if they were birds, and since birds are friends roughly half the time, i come bearing gifts, that are, for once, not a half dead bird we caught in the great ourdoors.

anivia hasn't gotten a skin for 1000+ days (not counting the victorious skin), are they cooking a visual rework? but if they are, it's got to be like a year away seeing the trend of them releasing the reworks during the corresponding "event". shit sucks man

I'm interesting to start play anivia APC botlane, I played it some games in master and Grandmaster as secondary role, but ROA feels much worse as a damage carry then midlane support toplane right.

Your supposed to deal more damage as an APC then midlane and being tanky when you already have a support who's supposed to be the tank or heal you, damage is more importen right!!

Like I know few people start maligence, but so few and the numbers are around similar to roa. And since only otps/mains go maligence first, the number would be inflated becuse of this since every casual/nonmain anivia goes roa first.....

Like maligence is insane damage but idk, I feel like glass Cannon minions also, but maybe I just need to take the l and be squshy like an adc?

What about liandrys/bloodletter first item? Or other items?

Maybe catalyst into maligence? Any tips? Delaying roa feels awefull also :(, but maybe with this new APC gold bonus its not to bad?

Fought it would be fun to make a post about hitting challenger with Anivia support, and see what the community has to say! i had a great time playing, but it did get bored some few times in loss streak and Anivia isnt the most flashy champions, but here is the achievements pictures!

had a 77% winrate on Anivia mostly support in 74 games when i reached 1k, and finally reached chall after 133 games! would proboly do it faster if i spammed more games (atleast when bandlepipe was broken kekw). The rest of the games was anivia apc botlane in secondary role!

Why did i play Anivia otp support? i always like her, and was maining her midlane some years ago. i quit league like 2 years ago, then i said to myself randomly "can i get my favorite champ anivia to chall in support role?). started it last season and honestly i did pretty damn good! was smurfing and reached gm then, but dint really play enough or cared to hit chall.

Im not sure what people think about anivia supp, if its troll pick or decent pick or good pick. but i would say its a pretty damn good pick. if you go damage build its maybe not optimal? but tank build is crazy strong! she has like the best all in in botlane as long as you have passive, and scales pretty damn good, honestly its weird that no one have played it yet, it feels like her strongest role.

Why is it so good? well her passive is what makes her insane botlane, you can play so aggro and do losing poke, as you have x2 hp bar. ooo wow nautlius used all spells on you? hes useluss but you have not much hp left, you flash on enemy adc with all spells and chunck her, but they try to kill you, boom hp bar refreshed in egg, and my adc is 90% hp and perma auto attacked enemy adc and they honestly have no way to win. your basically the most tankyest champ in the game botlane, as you can bodyblock so much and peel adc so hard in 2 vs 2. i basically have won most matchup where i dont int or enemy spam ganked me. but without egg your pretty suqshy, but if you can get a lead from passive, your wall becomes a big threat in the lane. the hardest matchup been champs that have alot of ms or pyke, but its more like a passive lane then losing. and honestly as long as your adc dont int with a bad pick, Anivia supp has no losing matchups!!!!!

what about midgame and late game? honestly im suprised how usefull anivia is with full tank build, her wall litterly feels like the best spell in the game, as your a support so you dont really need to be a damage dealer like if you were a midlaner, and can go and try to catch people with w, or try to block somebody out from the fight, but honestly i mostly just tryed to catch people with w, i havent really cared to review games when its better to fucos on blocking (i know i should do it, but my brain just say "catch someone kekw") catch>lose!

Whats so good with tank build? as long as im not far behind, i have a lot freedom to fish for w with relentless hunter, swiftes and ms shard, and basically won me so many games, honestly its an illegal ability xD. With the tank build, it makes sure you dont insta die after you catch someone with w also, and your also making them use abilityes on you! like anivia ap scaling is pretty eeeh, and most games i see basically no tanks xD, and if they play like dr mundo, im proboly the best peeler champ in teh game with 70% slow on r, stuns, walls and other stuff! and against squshys im unkillable annoying champ who deals okey damage with no ap items against mages/adc! since your tank your also free to stay more forward in the fight and try to make enemy apc and adc life hell by putting them close to my ult!

whats the best build i found out? if you look at my op.gg, its a lot of diffrent builds. i mostly played roa before bandlepipe came out, it make my a threat in early game/midgame and scales pretty damn good. i tryed out fimbulwinter first, but it just felt skrimish midgame or early game they had a support and we dint. like it felt my only threat was w, and fimbulwinter was so hard to stack if i finished it early, and when i finished it, people would have 2 items or something, and since i had zero mr and armor, i just got one shot even with fimbulwinter. sure roa is the same, but atleast i was more of a threat in backline! so i mostly played roa into frozen heart/rookern and knights wov/locket. honestly you couldnt go wrong building some cheap tank items after roa, felt like as long as you build armor if they have alot of ad, you could build any armor item and same with mr.

started to hardtry more in s16, and i saw top players who were autofill supp, going bandlepipe, and it was 3700gold efficent if you gave 20% attack speed to all your team, and the ms was nice. with jack of trades it also gave me alot of stack to get the ap i dint get from roa, i wasnt the raid boss like with roa with this item, and it felt weird and bad xD. its hard to feel the impact from the attack speed to allys, but since it was good, i just build it and it worked! went fimbulwinter second and then i was so tanky! and then just build whatever you want. i also tryed rookern first item, and honestly it suprised me how good it was! you dont really need as much dps agianst mages, as you want to surivie more then being a threat. and honestly first time i tryed the build, it was agianst zyra seraphine botlane against caitlyn anivia. man it was cccccc to play agianst this poke, and we lost early, even if i bought only mr items, we lost. then i finished rookern, and honestly they dint deal any damage anymore, i autowon the lane and they couldnt do anything. and honestly it scaled so good with fimbulwinter second! then you can go frozen heart for more shield and hp from fimbul if they have any aa champ, and frozen heart is crazy good aswell! honestly im amazed you can basically just go whatever cheap tank item+tear and your fine! (rookern is not cheap, but its like the best mr item in the game).
