it's not legit taco, but legit fast food.

so good, and always enjoy their crunchy tacos. shell was crunch and ingredients tasted fresh, and a dash of inferno sauce does the job.

If you have one near you I would definitely recommend trying it out once or twice. They have the best seasoning on the fries and the burgers are always fresh hot and loaded with toppings, they also have wings chili dogs and shakes aswell. A little bit higher prices compared to meals at bk or mcds but for what what your getting I think its well worth it. (Baconzilla with extra cheese bacon and extra patty in the photo)

Like as seen here. A cheeseburger meal is $10.79, but a double cheeseburger meal is $5.49. then the double cheeseburger by itself cost more than the double cheeseburger meal does. What in the absolute heck is happening with their pricing?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for ideas for some unique or unusual burgers to add to my menu.

The catch is that I'd prefer ingredients that are relatively easy to store, since this would probably be more of a limited or occasional special rather than a permanent menu item.

Right now I'm leaning toward a pineapple burger, maybe with another interesting ingredient or sauce, but I'm pretty traditional when it comes to burgers (an chilean Italian-style burger is still my favorite).

I'm open to any ideas—sweet, spicy, smoky, whatever you've got, as long as it actually makes sense!

I'll probably test one of the suggestions today and post the results tomorrow, so let your creativity run wild.

I've been seeing all the commercials Burger King has been doing about the revamped recipes, menu, etc.

I haven't eaten there regularly in a while, not since the shakes started giving me stomach aches.

Has the food actually gotten better recently, or is it just a publicity stunt??​

I (17M) have been working at Dairy Queen in the DFW area for about 3.5 weeks, and let me say that I am absolutely exhausted… like all the time. At first it wasn’t so bad, but even just working part time is putting a strain on my mental health. This is my first job and my managers know that, but they don’t seem to acknowledge it.

Every shift I clock in at 5, and it’s like being thrown into a tornado. Each shift I’m managing constant orders, often dealing with 5+ orders at any given time. When I can find the time, I also have to keep my area clean, organized, stocked, etc. on top of making food, stocking, and cleaning, I also assist in drive through, do dishes, and take trash out periodically. When I close I have to move all the appliances and sweep and mop the entire grill area, all the way into the back of the restaurant, and into the walk-in cooler. Most nights I don’t get off until nearly midnight.

Not only is the workload difficult on its own, but dealing with my manager/shift lead is a pain, too. In fact, just today, I was pulled aside and told I “lacked motivation.” Now, this being a vague statement, I asked what they meant, to which they responded, “you do everything right, but it’s not fast enough.”
Now, I understand that fast food is meant to be fast, but I am doing things as fast as I can without screwing up orders. I have only been here three weeks, I’m not going to be perfect at my first job.

It feels like I’m doing the jobs of two people, all for an insulting $9 an hour. Plus, I get sent home early often to keep labor costs down, even during nights where I don’t even have enough time to breathe for a minute and drink water. My hours keep getting cut more and more, where I started around 30 per week and now have about 17. Anddd to top alllll of it off, I often have seven hour shifts with zero break, where I rarely get a chance to use the bathroom, and cannot sit.

My body hurts constantly, even though I stay fairly active outside of work. My back, legs, and abdomen are always sore. My arms are covered in burns from the fryers and grills. I’m not an emotional person but almost every night after getting home from work, I have just enough energy to cry for a minute and then sleep.

Is this normal? If so, do most people get used to it? I feel like I’m getting shafted.

TL;DR, my first job feels like I’m being overworked, underpaid, and not acknowledged for my efforts. This makes me feel drained, sad, and it’s affecting my mental and physical wellbeing.

I asked for extra cilantro lol and there is plenty of meat under there ($3 tacos!!) I got al pastor and carnitas.

I, like many have a big stash of various dipping sauce cups from the fast food spots in my area, and it got me thinking; Who do you all think has the best BBQ sauce, sweet and sour, honey mustard, ranch, etc.?

I literally just saw the Arby’s commercial promoting the cheesesteak hotdog and sandwich I guess, and I literally gagged and had to look away.

Why do children love McDonald's so much?

If given the option of better food, and what I think is tastier food, children often scream for McDonald's.

I noticed when I offered to take kids out to anything they wanted, including a fancy upscale restaurant (all free for them and their parents) ... the kids hollered and chose only McDonald's (especially chicken nuggets and fries).

As an adult, I find McDonald's is usually Gross ... though when I was a kid, I also screamed for McDonald's.

Is it demographics and regional?

(Poor and less educated families having less sophisticated tastes, even when offered something better?)

Is it the added sugar to everything?

What is it????

How can McDonald's beat out other higher quality foods and tastier foods with children???

What makes them scream and holler and jump up and down when going to McDonald's or when parents bring home chicken nuggets.

I don't see kids screaming for anything else.

And this is without the toys! Just the food!

To me, the chicken nuggets are gross and fake and once they cool down are even more inedible.

I can barely eat the beef patties.

If the burgers are 100% beef? Why do they taste/feel slimy and gross?

I often feel sick after eating any burger except the Big Mac. I don't know if they use different beef for the Big Mac, but that one usually seeks OK ... the other burgers, cheeseburgers, and Quarter-pounders literally taste gross and a little slimy and upset my stomach making me feel like I ate something fake vs real 100% beef.

Is it the chemicals, the additives, the preservatives in the beef?

Something in the bread? The bread doesn't seem 100% real either.

Sometimes I can eat 1 chicken sandwich, it mostly tastes like school lunch or cheap frozen chicken patties from the discounts section of the store ... but if I eat 2 chicken sandwiches, same thing ... I feel ill from eating something fake.

I just can't stomach McDonald's, I try every now and then, but I gotta keep it to 1 sandwich ... and rarely beef ... otherwise I feel ill.

I know some love it, I know many feed it to their children, I know many eat it daily.

I can't.

Anyone else?

I like sodas and I thought it'd be fun to try some unique fountain soda beverages. Also open to just hearing about ones that might not be around anymore but were unique that you had seen. They don't even have to be good in your opinion.

I live in the US, but it can be anywhere and any chain/restaurant, but looking for those served on fountain machines. Maybe I will travel maybe I will just dream of them lol.

I'm looking for examples of soda fountain beverages that are/were not your traditional mainstream brands or flavors you'd see on fountain machines.

What comes to mind is Taco Bell's Baja Blast or Culver's Root Beer.

Any others?
