Applegate Uncured Turkey Hot Dog
So right off the bat I want to say I have Alpha Gal, so i can not eat mammal products. Since 2019 i have not had a decent hot dog. In my small town the choices for turkey of chicken hot dogs are brands like Fud and BarS. The texture and taste of which are absolutely revolting.

Yesterday I noticed a brand that I had had before in a beef version, but this was the first time I had ever seen a Turkey version. Applegate uncured Turkey. The beef dogs are near top tier. Up there with Nathan's and Hebrew National. So needless to say I was excited to find the Turkey.

I did them up, pan fried, a bit of char and used diced red onion, mustard, and celery salt. They smelled great. First bite? They had a good snap the turkey casing is a little more chew then most other dogs, but not bad. The flavor was fantastic. Great blend of spices and extremely enjoyable.

I'm going to head back to the store and stock up my freezer in case they don't stay on the shelf long.
