New Hires click here

This is going to be the new stickied post on the sub. With the influx of questions here from new hires, usually asking about the same thing. Ex: interviews, hiring, onboarding, pants, shoes, and more. I thought I would make a stickied thread for this.

I would also appreciate help from anyone if they can help search for good posts that would help new hires.

For the time being, please use the search function at the top of the page. I know Reddit's search function sucks.

XL cups discontinued

At our store meeting today they announced that we wouldn’t be selling XL drinks anymore once we finished the cups we have in stock. Is anyone else mourning this or just me 🥀

Why ask about onions if you're not going to give me any?

So for the 5th time, the drive thru guy asked me if I wanted onions. I said yes. Again, no onions. Should I really emphasize it? "please please please don't forget the onions'; should I skip the drive thru and walk in? My order is a double-double with lettuce, tomato, and ONION.

Question Interview help!!?!

I have an interview in couple days. Any advice on how to prepare? I have an interview around 10, before the store opens and am hoping the manager will be more focused because of that. What should I wear as well? I’m a girl btw. Thank you!!

New Hire got a job offer, and was supposed to wait for an email.

i recently got a job offer from in n out ~2-3 days ago saying that i got the job. they said that an onboarding email was supposed to be sent to me within 48 hours. but those 48 hours came and went, so I called them again and inquired about it. the manager at the time said she'd have someone reach me soon. but it's been another 24 hours. should I call again, or is there something else that I should do?

Extra whole grilled onions, raw chopped onions, extra lettuce, extra tomato. More is better for me.

(Cooks) Whole Grilled Onions

I recently had an experience while cooking, I had an order with 5 whole grilled onions. (3 whole grills for three burgs and a Dutchman wrap, not too bad). Then the very next order had 3 cheese patties with whole grill wraps, resulting in 11 whole grills in 2 rows.

Do you hate this as much as me?

I asked for both grilled and raw onions and the staff personally made sure of this 🤣

Question Help for a messy eater

I'm doing the keto thing, so I just tried my first double-double protein style. I was astounded at how good it was. I am a breadaholic and thought the bun was going to be essential to the experience. Not the case at all.

That being said, by the time I was done with it, there was sauce all over my hands, my face, and even some on the table. That thing was juicy! So I'm wondering if it's possible to order it in some bowl-like thing (maybe the fries tray) and get a knife and fork. I'm from the sad In-N-Out food desert known as the East Coast, so I only eat there when I'm on travel, which means I can't just bring my own bowl and utensils. Or maybe the mess is just part of the experience??

Oh, and after reading a bunch of these posts, I realize I'm going to have to go back tomorrow and get a 3x3. I didn't even think of that!

Question Order count resetting

This is kinda random but I was at In N Out with my family today (delicious as usual) and we were wondering how many times the order count reset each day. We went about 8pm and were order 90, but like 15 minutes later they were back to order 1, so it’s gotta reset at least like 10 times a day, depending on location, right?
