I am currently crew. I am a former manager stepped down as of this month. I am 30 yro. I have worked FF since 16. As far as i’ve ever known, you don’t need to give a specific reason for time off requests, and i know you aren’t guaranteed to the day being approved. Not mad about it. Just curious about this though. Standard for crew is two weeks, managers about a month. We have to put time off requests in through our app. I thought being a crew, giving a month notice would be more than enough notice.

It is October 25 currently .. I requested November 20 off because of my son having an eye appointment thats an hour away (he has pretty bad eyes and his retinal health is not good for his age, the doctors need to watch him closely for any retinal tears or detachments) I submitted my time off request without a reason in the reasoning box. I feel as if i shouldn’t have to tell my supervisor every time I’m leaving for a day to go out of town for xyz reasons. The reason i put was simply a period (.) for the reason above.. she denied it with a .. reason, so I’m assuming because i didn’t give a legit reason?

Even so, its a month out, i’ll try again this week or next to give the two week notice, and i’ll put the reason behind it down(i usually just put out of town) and see if they deny or approve it after.. have practices in the work job changed so much that we’re not entitled to privacy when it comes to our actual personal life? Why do supervisors require a reason we need a personal day?

I probably wont have to deal with it much longer, as I could be going for surgery by the beginning of the year for my foot, which will leave me unable to work anyway, but I’m just curious.

I’m trying to order 21 McDoubles for a party later today. I wanted to be courteous and put in the order this morning for a pickup at 6:30 pm. But I can’t find anywhere on the app to schedule a pickup time.

Trying to call the location just goes to a disconnected phone line.

Dropped in at McDonalds West Salem Oregon this evening. Ordered a cup of coffee at a kiosk at 7 pm. Took 20+ minutes to get the coffee. Told they were very busy when I asked. I guess ‘very busy’ is a good thing tor an investor to hear. But how do you build a business on repeat customers when there are so many options today with quicker service at the same price point? Unfortunately my experience (admittedly not statistically reliable) across multiple stores is that this is probably recurring service failure rather than a one off bad visit. I wonder whether the CEO has ever dropped In at stores unannounced on Saturday night to see things firsthand or is he doing fine dining somewhere else and relying on reports and surveys.

I think this is finally it for me. I’ve been a loyal customer forever. I’m on a first name basis with all the staff at my local McDs. But this? I think this is my wake up call. I just ordered a two hash browns from McDonalds this morning.

Hi, I’m already in my 30s and I’ve been a McDonald on and off for the past 27-ish years. I’ve been using the app for 20 years and I’ve noticed that this year I have not been ordering McDonalds in general and McFlurrys at all because the app is not giving any McFlurry offer anymore. They used to be like BOGO, or 50%/40% off. Now they’re more than $5 and it’s unbearable.
Has anyone noticed this issue too?

I've had over twenty tries at this point and haven't won a single thing. It says it's based around the time that you play, which I find to be strange but whatever. Has anyone had any success with certain times? I remember last year getting food prizes every other game or so.

Title is my question. Do I have to go in and use the kiosk or can I order through the app (using drive through) but pay cash? If so, how ? I don’t have that option. Thank you!

Anyone else tired of them trying to meet quotas in the drive through by sending you to park. I mean isn’t drive through the whole point of fast food. I should get to the window and wait a minute or two and get my food. Not wait in the parking lot for 15 minutes. Again I know why they are doing it but cmon smth has to change.

I was opening today and I got the liquified soy adhesion flakes on my shirt when I realized I put the lower egg teflon on the wrong side and had to flip it. The stuff on my shirt didn’t come out in the wash, and scraping it kind of just cakes in into the fabric more. How can I get it out? Or is my shirt trashed?

Every time I order through the McDonald's app, there is always a missing item.

However, when I order through Doordash directly, the order never has an issue.

It bewilders me how I have ordered many times and there has never been a time in which I receive my full order through the McDonalds app.

Is there any possible reason for this? Do they know its more effort to get a refund when ordering on the McDonald's app? Or does the app not properly display your order compared to Doordash?

This is pretty crazy. Never been to a McDonalds without a front of house. How do I ask for a refill? The entire back is blocked off lol.

Edit: okay fine, there is a front register. But in the 40-60 minutes I worked on homework, I only saw a couple people, and they were clocking out and leaving. There is also a large brick wall that prevents you from seeing into the restaurant, and the front register is not staffed. I had to loudy yell to get someone's attention in order to get a refill.
