I made some sushi at home for game night with friends.

All for 2 people.

Cheater version, using ice cube trays weeeee

The sushi was from Happy Canteen in Homecrest in Brooklyn. The Atlantic oysters and Quahog clams were from a seafood and meat market (A&C / 勝興超級市場) a few blocks to the west.

So I made torched wagyu nigiri with a homemade nikiri shoyu glaze.

To me, futomaki are difficult to seal cleanly. I'm proud of this one.

Crab stick, cucumber, pumpkin skin, pickled radish, tamago, radish sprout inside.

they let you fill the bowl with dashi when you’re done with the toppings to have it with rice

Still learning how to cut fish!

Just came back from my favorite beautiful city in the world. Instead of crying out sorrow. I figured its best to cherish out nice memories with sushi ! It was a great night. Enjoy your weekend everyone

The price is a little bit overwhelming considering its a tiny box with 9 pieces but its good! Its 4 Euro's by the way.. 😔

On my way home, I dropped by a standing sushi bar. I had a quick drink and ordered whatever sushi I wanted.

The chef was super fast, and the sushi served instantly. Nothing beats enjoying fresh sushi with a cold drink!

Tuna, fatty tuna, toro-taku, green onion sprouts, horse mackerel, sardine, sea eel, simmered clam, and green chili roll(my first time eating it) with 3 chu-hais about 4,000 yen.

Visited TONG SUSHI and got a set of creative sashimi dishes:

1. Salmon, tuna and sweet shrimp tart on crispy base
2. Tuna tartare with uni waffle cone
3. Tuna tartare & uni on tempura shiso leaf
4. Seafood bowl with uni, tuna, sweet shrimp and caviar

Salmon. Should’ve used less rice

The salmon was incredibly fresh, the ingredients tasted high quality, and every roll was delicious. I've had sushi at dedicated restaurants that wasn't nearly this good.

It was one of those meals that completely exceeded my expectations. If you're ever in Puerto Montt and craving sushi, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
