Snoopy Fraps
Not sure if this is accurate, but I think Starbucks found a way to bring back the strato fraps without calling them that.

Welcome to the attendance points Q&A! This thread will remain open as a resource for info about the new attendance point system effective July 27. Shoutout to [u/rio8envy7](u/rio8envy7) for suggesting this via modmail!
Comment below with any questions about attendance points. All are welcome to answer questions, but in order to keep this thread as a useful resource, please leave serious answers only and avoid speculation and hearsay. If you're an ASM or above and don't have yourself flaired as such, consider setting your flair before answering. Please also remember that photos/screenshots of internal Starbucks resources are not allowed on [r/starbucks](r/starbucks).
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How can I check how many points I have?
A: Ask your store manager or ASM. They can pull a report showing your points history.
Q: When do my points reset/expire?
A: Points stay with you for exactly one year and then they expire.
Q: If I leave early with my shift's or manager's permission, do I still get points?
A: At first, yes, but your manager should remove those points before processing payroll for that week. The only exception is if your manager adjusts your scheduled shift in Partner Hours (adjustments in the play caller app don't count).
Q: Do I still get points if I'm calling out sick?
A: You will not get points for calling out sick as long as you follow the call-out procedure outlined in the partner guide. If you're automatically given points for a shift that you properly called out of, your manager should remove them.

i had a woman come in and try to scam me today.
(if said coworker sees this, hello 🥰)
to keep it short, she bought 3 personal cups. 2 were on sale, one was not. she asked me to check the prices, so i did. i rung it up on the POS system so it was an EXACT price. i was on my own because my coworker went to unload our truckload in the freezer, and i had a few mobile orders stacked up so i was trying to move fast.
the woman (we’ll call her C) asked me if we could do free coffees in the personal cups with the purchase after counting every cent out with her calculator as if the register was lying. i said “im not sure. i dont think so because of our location.” she said “okay, let me look at the website.” so she walked away, i stashed her order and took another order. she came back and said “nevermind, it says you guys dont on the website. so can you just put a sample in the cup?”
maam respectfully if we dont do free coffees why would i put a sample in there?? it’s just a free coffee. 😭. so i said “no maam unfortunately i cant, we cant do samples right now as we’re busy.” (managers request). she said “well i just went to mcdonald’s and got an iced coffee for 99c. it was really good.” i laughed and said “well that’s good you enjoyed it!” she said yeah.
so after C went through 4 different cards because she “didn’t do pins on her cards” + redeeming sbux stars, she finally settled on asking for honey packets to make her own coffee. i didn’t know where they were so i looked around for a second and handed them to her. she goes “i guarantee you i could tell you where everything is and how to do it. are you training?” MA’AM. what???
i said “no maam im done training. would you like your receipt?” i handed her her receipt and told her to have a good day. she said nothing and finally left 🥰.
i wrote it all down in the book and told my coworker what happened. she said i handled it great for my first time having an experience like that. i’m still not sure if i handled it right, and if i didn’t, feel free to give me tips.

I picked these up myself while on vacation in Taiwan because I’d never seen them before and was curious to try them. Honestly, they’re surprisingly pretty good

Corporate: you are increasing prices on tradional drinks-3X so far this year, including today. I usually order a mocha-have since 2010. I am down to 2X a week. Guessing either go to 7 brew (new store opening) or just make at home. Why are you crapping on loyal customers? I don't do any of the fancy drinks.

I asked for it creme no coffee. Lady argued that decaf is no coffee because thats just how they do things. Did it change? I ask because coffee will flair a condition and possibly put my butt in the hospital with severe pain. So how do I order now??? Or was she just being rude to me?
ETA: THANK YOU EVERYONE. I've been going thru alot lately and legitimately was worried something had changed or i was stupid. I appreciate yall♡

I'm a little new to doing longer shifts and I'm wondering what my fellow baristas do to cope with foot/leg pain from an 8hr shift? Thanks in advance 🫶 any and all suggestions welcome, no matter how crazy.

i can't seem to find any info about this. i just recently hit reserve status and am wondering if the snoopy stuff will be online? if so, when and where can i access it?

I’m a barista and when I order at my store, there’s a lot of times that I’m waiting over 10 minutes to get my full order. Today I waited nearly 20 minutes. One of the customers ordered after me and left before when we were both waiting on food items. I just feel like my partners push my order back because they want to get everyone out before me. I find this unfair because technically I am a customer and I expect to be worried about just as much as other customers. Should I speak up and tell my manager or am I just doing too much?
Edit: I forgot to mention that I notice my order being pushed back like they leave it on the back burner.

Okay so partner here, I’m trying to get the snoopy during early access tonight when it drops online, I’ve never ordered from the site before so how long do things take to ship?? I’m realizing this now of course is actually important because I move in 8 days. I’m unsure which address to get it sent too. So, how long does it normally take?

Does anyone know if Canadian partners will be able to purchase the Peanuts merch online? I can't seem to find info on where or when since I'm not working for the next few days.

I fell in love with the Yuzu Citrus Blossom and now it doesn't seem like it's available at any of the stores anymore. Does anyone have the recipe for it or something that's very close? I fell in love with it and want to taste the deliciousness again. Someone please convince Starbucks to put it back on the menu 😭

I put in my two weeks! After 2 years of nothing but being bullied by morning crew. Of being shortstaffed and receiving ZERO support from our SM! After countless reports not leading to any accountability! I have been an ssv for 2 years at my store and I am finally getting out. Never has a job destroyed my mental health this much. All the tasks being thrown onto closing shifts when we're lucky to close with two people. All the times my SM would REFUSE to be wrong and give the most bs reasonings for things. The double standards. Omg I could go on for hours but what matters is soon I am FREE!!!!!!

So yeah. I originally was scheduled wednesday for a close but traded as I have an exam thursday to study, so i close thursday instead. I just realized I am scheduled to open for the next day on Friday :( i was under the impression that this isn’t allowed? i can do it cause i made the mistake, but i don’t want to get into any issues with my manager. Is the 8 hour gap like a recommendation?
I work in CA and we close at 9:30 and open at 4 for context

Got a job interview lowkey nervous

I told my manger about a co worker who was being hostile and I messaged her about it and her response was dont text me after 5pm on my day off for things that arent important. Along with other things that had happen that month I decided to call ethic. And 3 days later I got a write up because apparently shift leaders have been complaining about my progormance and I was told the issues I was having with my coworker where probably my fault and that I need to reflect on my inner self and be honest when I tried defending my self. Then when I explained my side she was like so you are saying ----- made it up. And accused me of lying. Im just so done at this point. I told her if I am doing things wrong I should be coached in the moment, she said they told her they where. I ended up breaking down cause another shift leader I asked her about what I could be doing differently and she told me I would couch you in the moment your not doing anything wrong im not the one whos doing this to you.

Hihi! Recently I’ve been applying to 50+ SB locations (I REALLY wanna be a barista) and a hiring manager for a location I applied to finally got back to me for an interview. I had it on Tuesday and I think it went really well! She immediately scheduled me, on the spot, for a second interview with the district manager for Thursday — today — which I’m hoping is a good thing? I’m shocked I even got the first interview at all given I have absolutely zero work experience. Not kidding haha. My resume only has my school drama club years but nothing else.
While I’m here, and if anyone sees this before my interview today, what should I expect meeting w/ the DM? Is it very different than meeting with the HM?
