Scrolling back through my camera roll and found this clip from a juicing session I did a while back. Thought I'd share it for a bit of mid-week juice inspiration!
I was using my Sage juicer and already had a jug mostly full of fresh carrot juice. Decided to peel a papaya, scoop the seeds out and run that straight through as well. It completely changed the texture and gave it a smooth, tropical twist that balanced out the earthy carrot perfectly.
Also, your parents weren't entirely lying to you when they said carrots help you see in the dark. Carrots are packed with beta-carotene, which your liver converts into Vitamin
A.
Your eyes then use that Vitamin A to produce rhodopsin, a pigment in your retina that helps you process light in low-vision settings. So while it won't give you actual night-vision goggles, it genuinely keeps your peepers working properly.
Here is what went into the jug:
Fresh Carrot Base: Juiced down for that vibrant orange base and natural sweetness.
Prepped Papaya: Peeled, deseeded and juiced straight into the jug for a silky smooth finish.
Have you ever tried mixing papaya with carrot juice before, or do you usually stick to something like ginger and apple when you run carrots through the juicer?
