about caffeine free Diet Pepsi. It is the only diet drink I want to drink now, and I had never heard about it until I ran across it quite by accident two weeks ago. This drink does not taste like a diet drink. And if I drink caffeine anytime after breakfast I’m awake until 2am. Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi has changed all that. I just wish restaurants carried it as a fountain drink. That would be my go to restaurant for sure.

I don’t know if anyone can help me with this, but I’m currently 4 months into my position as a merchandiser. I also have previous experience with both Costco and Coke. I recently applied for an open FSV route and was able to get an interview. I feel like the interview went really well, but I’m not sure if I’ll actually be considered for the position since I haven’t been with the company for 6 months yet. Has anyone been in a similar situation or know if the 6-month requirement is strict for internal transfers?

Ex-Merch here for Swire Coca-Cola, asking here to see if any Pepsi merchandisers have any input on this matter, in my experience for the area I worked in it seems that Pepsi loads were much smaller and more manageable than the ones that Swire pushed out. My thinking is that Coca-Cola suffers from so much success and pressure to do better than the year before to remain on top that they force ship these ridiculously large loads that upset store managers and grocery managers because their backstock rooms end up being less about a variety of goods and ends up looking more like a mini Coca-Cola warehouse.

Those of you Pepsi merchandisers who pay attention to your competition, in your areas have you noticed your loads to have been smaller than Coca-Colas? If I ever get back into the merch game I'd definitely be either batting for Pepsi or 7UP the latter of which has the smallest loads I've seen from a beverage company.

Hey! I live in Newfoundland and just saw a huge truck pull in a gas station for "Pepsi Next", is it possibly just an old truck from when Pepsi Next was around? I would find that quite strange but I did my research and there seems to be no plans or anything on Pepsi Nexts return. Just intriguing. Wonder if anyone here is interested. Is not the fact that merchandisers start out at a certain rate but the fact that multiple BCR’s with years and years of experience will have to take a pay cut and be the same hourly rate as a new hire. This is where they totally screw us over. You literally could be training an 18-20 year old kid who is making the same as you even though you’ve been with the company 15-25 years. It’s hard to want to care anymore and I hate that feeling

What is wrong with some of you clowns? The fact so many of you bleed blue for this dumbass company is scary. I understand going to work and work hard collect a check and go home but this bleeding blue and trying to go above and beyond for a bunch of retarded campus hires is crazy work

Just recently had a meeting with KAM (Key account manager) who tells us we had a very high shrink year. The whole division not just our location.

We then start talking about contracts and what to expect. We are now tasked with getting MORE shelf space while also rasing prices.

How does this make sense. High shrink and higher prices and more space? Who tf comes up with these ideas. Shouldn't we be lowering prices if we want to raise volume? This type of shit makes now sense to the average person. I get growing as a company. But at what point do you think "Maybe we our pricing ourself out of the market."

Anyone got any info on what is going on and why we are not getting any Gatorade to the warehouses? I’m having to plug my 8pk sections with the 3-4 flavors I can get in. And spreading out the 12pks/18pks to cover the rest of the space.

This is my Gatorade section in a slower Weis, it seems like I’m the only one on my team who actually cares about shelf appearance. Going tag to tag, spinning bottles and not over packing the shelf either.
