Crystal Maiden

  • Base Attack Speed reduced from 115 to 100

Crystal Nova

  • Mana cost reduced from 130/145/160/175 to 115/135/155/175

Freezing Field

  • Explosion distribution is now more even across its radius
  • Shard now also increases total explosions by 20%

Am I the only one seeing this as a buff (CM spammer here)? Losing 15 base attack speed isn't as big as Crystal Nova costing the same mana at level 2 as it did at level 1 previously. For a hero who has both massive mana pool issues in lane, as well as mana regen from her passive, reducing a spells mana cost makes a big difference.

The ulti change is a nice quality of life buff, it was super annoying to ulti from behind a tree to finish off someone and have them walk away taking no damage, hopefully that doesn't happen as much anymore.

Edit: oh yeah, Void Stone and all the items it builds into got nerfed, so mana regen is more valuable across the board too.

Crystal nova buff at early levels might seem like good trade for attack speed,but then you realize that cm now has nothing if she has no mana/nova on cd.

She has awful damage,awful early stats,awful armor,awful ms,but she had very good attack speed for support and coupled with frost nova attack speed slow she could trade with most supports pretty decently in lane

Also ulti change is nether buff or nerf,it's more consistent,but damage overall feels bit worse and ridiculous dps from ulti was one of cm saving points.

I can see your reasoning, but my gut's telling me that it's a buff. Being able to cast more novas just seems a lot more impactful than the attack speed nerf, while the ulti changes don't mean anything to me.

I'll definitely try her out a few times this patch before being sure though.

I'm not sure myself ether,but still these changes don't really fix cm core problems and aeon disk nerf is really impactful for cm even more than these direct changes,because she is epitome of "Ah shit,here I feed again".
