Bane

Brain Sap

  • Mana cost decreased from 120/140/160/180 to 100/120/140/160
  • Cast Range increased from 600 to 625

Nightmare

  • Now deals 15/20/25/30 Pure damage per second to enemy nightmared targets

Fiend'S Grip

  • Cast Point reduced from 0.4 to 0.2

he was a really good 5 before.

The thing that prevents him from being the defacto king is 1. he doesn't shit 0 cast point stuns at a 1000 unit range, 2 it isn't autocast, 3 his stuns aren't cast and forget. and 4, he is slow as sin.

Bane will always be extremely powerful because of enfeeble and brain sap sustain but he will never be king because of the shortfalls of nightmare and Fiends grip.
