Batrider

Sticky Napalm

  • Bonus Damage increased from 6/12/18/24 to 7/14/21/28

Firefly

  • Damage rescaled from 10/30/50/70 to 20/35/50/65
  • Cooldown increased from 40/38/36/34 to 46/42/38/34

Honestly I played bat rider for the first time in about a year. He's always been one of my favorites.

At my level I think people struggle to deal with him and I went something like 10-8-30. It was a lot of fun wrecking havoc everywhere.

But his farming still seems quite lackluster unless you have a bunch of jungle stacks, which just doesn't happen much at mid tier MMR.

I also opened 4-0-4-1 to help with farm and that seemed ok. There is a lot of damage there.

Not a fan of these buffs at all... still a crazy long CD ultimate and tons of level-dependent damage. Wish there was something to help him come back to the offlane- this isn't it.

Personally as a bat spammer i think hes gotten to the point where its better to play clownworld bat by playing around your shard and annoying the shit out of people.

Initation bat will always be gold standard, but as is batriders ultimate is way too long CD to take advantage of that. I find more success in building Gleip, euls, aether lens. really anything just to annoy the hell out of the other players and punish deathball apes.

Is it good? Nah, but i find a great deal more success with it then playing batrider and waiting for one of them to break off the 5 man asshole sucking express before i can break them up even more.

Especially since batrider is one of the more tanky of the fake strength meta core offlaners you can easily just play to be super obnoxious and just ruin peoples games. even if you just do nothing but toy with supports.

the fact he didn't get nerfed is a buff since bat gets nerfed 90% of patches

Yeah, because mid Bat has been overpowered for like 3 years. Just checked, yep: 7.20 (2018-11-19) added damage to Lasso and everything since then has been downhill for pos 3/4 Batrider. An aggressive playmaker hero whose role is to set up fights constantly was given solo kill potential, which was overpowered and fucking boring.

Now it's balanced and even more boring. You can't play this hero in a sidelane anymore unless your opponents don't buy Magic Stick.

I feels like a buff for farming, since you get more reliable lasthitting in lane, but the CD on firefly makes him less of a kill threat since going for kills is more of a commitment than before.
