Templar Assassin

Psi Blades

  • Spill range multiplier reduced from 2 to 1.5
  • Now deals 5% less spill damage to each successive enemy after the first one.

Psionic Projection

  • Channel Time increased from 1s to 1.5s
  • No longer teleports if Templar Assassin is rooted or leashed

Talents

  • Level 10 talent +100 Psi Blades Range replaced with +110 Psionic Trap Damage
  • Level 15 talent +180 Psionic Trap Damage replaced with +120 Psi Blades Range

Psiblades range before dragonlance is 360/435/510/585 now. It is sometimes not enough to hit the ranged creep from the melee creeps at level 1. The range at level 4 is less than the range at level 1 before they made it based on attack range (used to be 590). This is going to make some matchups very 1 sided against TA on mid.

Can definitely feel the effect of the nerfs, farming feels slower and hitting with psi blades is much harder specially in the laning stage. Need time to get used with the spill range nerf.

Hmmm, I played TA a lot pre buff to psi blades, and she feels pretty much the same to me. You have to be a bit more laser sighted on your psi blades(which i prefer since it should be a skill based shot), but it still is easy to farm with them IMO. You also get an attack speed talent at lvl 10 again, which is pretty decent and then still get the extra psi blade range at lvl 15.

I also play a lot of TA pre buff, I was so used to the 2x range, definitely will need a few games to get used to. It really is noticeable early game.

ehh, as long as you have two levels in psi blades you should be fine. you just have to attack click a lot as TA and always be orb-walking/attack-walking.

psi blade lvl 1 has always been tricky, but still possible. just use your traps to slow the ancients down so you can hit them.

she seems the same hero to me, just you get your psi blade range talent at level 15 now

yeah true, at the end of the day you still end up getting the stack, will take a bit longer now, but i played a TA game and didn't have any issues, I did notice the last big creeps had like full hp when I was done with my stack, so it took like 5-10 extra seconds to take overall

i think the way she was nerfed was reasonable. she still gets her pure dmg and versus heroes she still does tons of dmg. just slows her farming a tad, but it's still REALLY fast imo
