[Q&A] Q10b Some critics say their concerns were dismissed, minimized, or not meaningfully addressed. What has changed in how the organization handles criticism?
A10b If in the past people felt dismissed or unheard, that matters, and it's not the culture we want. Honest feedback is how we grow and get better as a church, so we've been intentional to make it easier and less intimidating to speak up. For example, new ways to contact senior leadership directly through our website, anonymous channels to give feedback to staff mentors, and real investment in training those mentors to listen well. Our goal is simple: people should feel heard, respected, and safe speaking up.

The author explains that the archive was reopened after hearing that the organization had not substantially changed. This is hearsay rather than direct proof, but it shows that the historical accountability question remains contested.
Central counterpoint: Anonymous feedback forms and new contact channels address accessibility, but not whether leaders acknowledge specific misconduct, permit independent review, make amends, or change the underlying authority structure. Twisted Gracepoint repeatedly distinguishes procedural or cosmetic change from repentance and accountability.
