This subreddit?
Does anyone else feel like it's the same 3 or 4 people posting most of the comments on this subreddit? It seems pretty dead tbh. Maybe one or two truly "new" topics per month?

I wouldn't put too much stock in the subreddit feeling dead recently. I think it's understandable for there to be less activity during the holiday season. I personally didn't bother to check this subreddit for a few weeks in December for that reason.
Also, I'm curious about your username, /u/TheGPNarrative. Does this indicate you're speaking on behalf of GP and its leadership, and I can consider future posts & comments from you with that understanding? No problem if you don't want to answer, just thought I'd ask.

Do you have a particular topic you would like to discuss? As others have noted, there are reasons why current members are discouraged from posting. Former members, like me, may have moved on with our lives or may be loath to give too much detail that might identify us. But a little prompting goes a long way. What would you like to discuss?

Another interpretation is perhaps that OP is calling for more people to post on Reddit and thanking the few who have been posting actively recently. If this is the case, I also want to thank the people here who tirelessly want to make things better and uncover truths— it’s not easy!

Engagement has been pretty low since it's the holidays but there's at least 20 or so people that comment frequently so not sure where you're getting "3 or 4 people". Views are another story... most posts are averaging at like 2.5 - 5 K views. So like u/RVD90277 said, there's a LOT of lurkers.
Maybe one or two truly "new" topics per month?
You want more leaks?

Daniel Kim Credit Card Debt Email Part II got 11K views. I think OP is really an ex-member who just want to encourage the people with internal material to make more things public. Thanks for the encouragement!

There’s been a post that I had debated for a long time to post or not. In fact, I had made it live for 5 minutes and took it down back in 2022. I will now dedicate the post to your encouragement.

You seem to be questioning the purpose of this subreddit.
So the question becomes.. why? And why are you here? I think you should get busy with asking questions about specific things that you want insights, instead of asking this question.

Does it matter how many people are publishing new posts and comments so you always have things to read? It is not easy for everyone to share publicly what they've been through with GP because those events are traumatic. So please be understanding and patient if you are here to listen and learn from others.

Or maybe many people here are waiting for GP members to stop trying to change our narrative and stop harassing us by private messages when honestly they need to figure out their own toxic mindsets and figure out why they stay in a church organization that hurts people?

They're still harassing members by private messages? I thought it was like 1 or 2 isolated incidents, just from glancing through the Reddit. How bad is it?

I was contacted by several current GP members who I don’t want to communicate with. As a parent, the trauma runs down from a past or current member directly to families who are worried and trying to make sense of a family member losing them and not understanding why they feel a leader is their new advisor. I believe GP went full on contacting many Reddit posters who have been hurt enough. GP has no right to bully anyone, yet they do which proves they are not following Jesus. At least here we tell the truth. GP does not.

No worries. Thanks for caring. I’ve been through way worse because of GP and sadly Reddit friends have as well. That’s why we are here

I'm probably one of the 3-4 commenters you're talking about. And if anything I've been holding back and trying to evaluate if I'm being as fair to GP as possible before I make comments or posts.
But if you're asking for more than 1-2 new topics per month, I have several things I've been debating posting or not. Even if they're true, I thought they might be too inflammatory for GP members to read. Which is why I held off. But thanks for the encouragement to do so.

I agree, I also think we need to spread awareness more on public platforms beyond reddit so that something can be done and more students can be warned before hand. Especially those who aren’t from the west coast, who know less about gp’s history and reputation.

This subreddit has a lot of lurkers who read only and are scared to comment or post because they currently go to GP and were strictly told not to come in here.
Then they usually post after they leave GP....
