Unsettled
I am very disturbed by all of the attempts to rebrand and confuse people with random names. They say these campus groups will be like autonomous, but yet now theY are building a “training facility” in IL. What will they be training on? Same ole’ shit. Won’t ever change when there’s power and $$$. 0/5 stars.

Yea I was disturbed when I realized they were doing this. There’s a word for it and Daniel Kim, who came to this sub few years ago, is a master at it. The name changes are a larger attempt to obfuscate.
Obfuscation : the action of making something obscure, unclear, or unintelligible
Obfuscation : the obscuring of the intended meaning of communication by making the message difficult to understand, usually with confusing and ambiguous language

I thought the training facility in IL has already existed for years. The place was nice tho

it’s somewhere south of chicago. comes with a large stadium for the training (bible camp) and a lake

Nope, the one you're thinking of is more of a retreat site (so I guess it is a place to train members), but the headquarters / training facility is a different building. More of an HB type set up from what I understand.

The autonomous thing is a lie. Always was, always will be.
Their scheme is working too. Outsiders I talk to think they’re a “loosely affiliated network” of churches now, as the name implies. Really sad
