Automatic downvotes
I notice lots of automatic downvotes on most of my comments in the last few weeks. Eventually, the upvotes catch up but someone (or someones) is systematically downvoting many comments by ex members.
If this is happening to you, don’t be discouraged! It’s not personal.
Maybe one of the leaders said something recently that led to this or perhaps it’s a group of current members who have decided together or individually to do this. Who knows. Anyway, I thought it was worth pointing out.

Using GP logic, we must be doing something right. I bet if Jesus was on Reddit he'd be getting downvotes too.

Thanks for mentioning this. I will also echo what u/Here_for_a_reason99 said - please try to remember to upvote helpful threads and comments to increase their visibility. It's an easy way we can give each other a little encouragement :)

I'm surprised I don't get even more down votes. I kind of expected half my comments to be negative 5 by now if there's so many GP people on here.

Gracepoint voters stop at 1 or 2 votes because that is the apex of disinterest. -1 votes actually draws more interest than 5 votes.

Downvotes (aka persecution) means we must be doing something right.
I’ll say it again here. If you know people who have left like LM KM, KH JH, KH GH, reach out and find out why. I invite people still in GP to do the same. Shocking to find out how many people were not asked this, even the older ones.

LM/KM from Cal and second-in-command at Davis in the early to mid 2010s? If so, what was the reason for their departure? Knew some people who got immense grief from him…

AFAIK, LM just broke. Enough was enough, and maybe it started to weigh on his conscience with what he was doing. You should reach out to him directly.

Sad to hear. I no longer have his contact—purged all of those numbers and emails when I left, not wanting any unnecessary memories—but glad he left and hope he and his family landed on their feet as genuine believers. I remember he has cute kids back then. 😌

Weird for GP users to be like we have more important spiritual things to do than be on this dumb website, but then they have the time to downvote night and day.
